As I only live down the road, I use this store regular on a Thursday I look forward to my farm house bread which I have had for years it's been put on the shelf at the back of the till waiting for me, until the past three weeks there hasn't been any. I shall now go else where you have lost my custom.

Normally the staff in here are excellent, tonight I queued up while the only staff member on the till (an old bald bloke) had to be the slowest checkout worker I have ever witnessed, making comments on every item he scanned and having to ask the only other member of staff, who ignored the lengthening queue to price up sell-by date goods, what price sausage rolls were. While the queue grew longer the other member of staff eventually decided to log onto another till, proceeded to have a conversation with the customer that the bloke was serving then eventually called out "next please, cash only". I asked if she meant all tills, the slow one chirped in "Yes, the card reader has gone down". It would have been nice to have been told on entering that this was the case, awful customer service. I have never had a problem in there before, staff are normally friendly, helpful and efficient, I blame Brexit, a migrant worker would have been far faster and more efficient.

Went in to buy a chocolate bar. Served by a kind lady and PAID at the till. Shame about the middle aged man behind the till who accused me of stealing on the way out, in front of other customers. I was left feeling insulted, distressed and humiliated. Do I look like I'd steal a £1.50 chocolate bar?

Well stocked local store with lovely friendly staff. Have constantly served the local community brilliantly throughout the Covid pandemic. The freezer cabinets are always well stocked and artistically arranged. Obviously somebody that loves their job....

Absolutely terrible service. Walked into the shop, the shutters literally shut on me and the supervisor had to come and drag me out though that ended in a disaster... We both went flying into the bottles of wine smashing all of them and ended up cutting my whole entire arm, what an experience at the co-operative. I went in the store for a sandwich and a bag of crisps. The sandwich must've been out of date by like 3 days, tasted revolting like Martin's Ticknall Village Store. The bakery woman stormed out the back shouting "MA NAME IS CHEF", sure does know how to spirit things up a bit. Wouldn't visit this store again though, I mean £2 for a sandwich, would be better of buying my own bread and filling for it, rip-off. The store isn't open long enough, opens at 8 AM on a Sunday as opposed to 7 AM all other days. If Tesco can open 6 AM to 11 PM daily then why can't they?
