   Ngl the £5 curry “Indian Essence” deal is pretty rubbish. I struggled to understand oven cooked rice but went with it and yeah it’s not the one. The curry’s are mid. Had the korma and chicken saag. Korma was like milk, the saag was basically wilted spinach. We don’t need to mention the potato’s. For a fiver though take a chance but from my experience Jamie Oliver would be disappointed and probably ask for a refund. GL my toilet tomorrow

   Went to heron yesterday at Allenton. loved the fact that they challenged a shop lifter instead of just letting the man get away with it, the staff showed courage as he was a big guy, but the littlest of woman challenged him, well done to all the staff, brilliant team work.

   Lovely staff! I work round the corner so this is a regular visit for me now, the staff are always so polite and friendly. I love the deals and bargains you get at heron! It’s great to stock up my desk drawer with little treats

   If you want a poor diet with bad processed food and junk then shop here. They had no soya milk no brown rice not much in the way of fresh vegetable and some staff did not even know what I was asking for. In a world where obesity is high this awful shop contributes to the demise of Allentons ill health and bad food choices.

   Used to be a co-op store. Store now no longer stocks fruit or veg but has multiple aisles with nothing but crisps and chocolate biscuits. Selection of wines and beers is non-existent compared to the co-op and no more self service counters. No longer stocks spirits or cigarettes and no longer has the parcel drop off, no pay-point and the Amazon secure pickup point us also gone. Prices still higher than Aldi who provide a much larger selection.
