A member of staff just stood and watched whilst another member of staff (that wasn't working) was yelling at a young child whilst the child was crying
Very rude. I had Too Good to go bag order for one Saturday morning. When I went down to the store turns out they only do one a day and one lady apparently already had it before me. When I asked what do I do, they started asking me bunch of questions about codes and stuff and I was like - I don’t know. My first trial on Too Good to go and whilst I was showing the email and reservation I must have swiped ready to collect apparently which means I collected the goods. Then she started telling me I should have not done that! And calls another lady. She comes out yelling You should have never do that! Now I have to give you something that was supposed to be for later. I was not standing there and taking any more abuse. Turned around and left. Complained to Too Good to go and got a refund. That was so humiliating as I was some sort of beggar who came to claim free food and they were telling me off like some naughty child who pressed the wrong button.
I would like to make a few comments about my local co op. I have been a customer for over 25 years sadly my health has not been so good over the past couple years and this shop I feel comfortable going to on my own. The staff are always very helpful and kind to me and have helped me a few times. Natalie Teresa Carolyn Dan Laura Mel and Kim to name but a few but recently I went in and there was a young lad doing work experience he was smart looking well mannered and very kind and helpful his name is Shay a credit to his parents I'm sure he will go far in life and has restored my faith in the youth of today.
One member of staff spoils it for them. Rude and let's a line form because she gossips about customers.
Lovely and helpful staff, free cash machine, Costa coffee and tango ice blast machine which is a bonus. Great range of products; meat, dairy, fruit and veg, picky bits, snacks, fresh bakery section etc. All you could need really. Slightly pricy but all express shops are and the deals and reduced price section is always good.
Just visited co op in Sussex Circus and couldn’t believe they are blatantly ignoring gov guidances. There was three people in shop without masks and the staff didn’t say a word, definitely won’t be using this shop again.
Prices are really high. It is locan got almost all what you need but still I can say that is way more expensive than a normal shop. But still if you forgot something and you don't wanna go faraway for another shop , you can go and get it from Co-op!
