During my stay in the city, I visited this supermarket twice. It is different to the Aldi in Germany: the aisles are wider, the shelves are stocked with more goods, and you can buy all kinds of pills, such as painkillers and antihistamines, which are not available in German Aldi supermarkets. The staff are really friendly, and I consider it a positive thing that they like to chat while scanning the products. Would reccomend it also for a quick shopping because the staff doesn't allow creating of the lines, they open more cash register if it gets crowded at the exit.

It was really clean & well stocked in the fresh aisles, in the frozen area though there was 3 members of staff & 2 pallets of food needing to go out so it was really difficult trying to get into the freezers, though after struggling to one of the men offered to get me what I needed. The queuing system was well organised & didn't take very long, though the lady at my till coughed into her hands & then carried on scanning food without washing or wiping her hands- very unhygienic anyway but especially now!!

A lot of cheap produce although the cost of living crisis doesn't help. Many products over half the original price making Aldi harder to justify going to Aldi. We've started going to Lidl a lot more than before. Aldi need to consider a rewards scheme like Lidl plus to keep up with the competition

Good value on food and goods. They have improved their fresh meat range,it's well worth a visit.Try wings of the world pack six different flavours marinated fresh chicken wings. If you buy a Ferrex power tool make sure you buy a battery separately. I have many cordless power tools of the Aldi brand and they are well made and do the job well.

This store is such a disappointment. After picking up 4 products (some pringles, gourmet pasta, Mini Roule cheese and some lamb mince) that didn't have a price tag on the shelf (above of below) I stopped asking for a price check from the staff as it was getting embarrassing. Products were strewn all over the shelves, price tag on the wrong place or missing entirely. Some of the shelves looked like they were falling apart, with the price tag holders falling off or missing entirely. I was also shocked at how much more expensive it is than Lidl. Definitely not the same savings to be had and also doesn't benefit from a bakery like it's rival. Wouldn't do a weekly shop here again.
