   Right, so I was a little late to buy a christmas tree this year, and most shops sold out. I thoight I will try my luck in B&M, and lo&behold they had few left. I asked for a person to wrap it for me in that funny net thing, and I believe the manager showed up. Now to tell the truth the tree was ok nothing special, but as the manager was wrapping it she said: what a beautiful tree you got, really good choice/ and that really made my day. She didnt have to say it and clearly the tree was not the best of best but she cared about the customer so much to try and make me feel good about this purchase. Lovely lady I hope you have a very merry christmas! Top store!

   Shelves were a tip. Nothing in the right place. Items didn’t match labels. Staff were incompetent, queues of 10 people on all tills and they were busy chatting away with each other. No manners when paying. Lady at till 1 had to call a manager and manager took 8 minutes to arrive.

   Just bought some heavy plants from B&M. The service was fantastic. Chris and Gaz both helped to wrap them and take them to the car and then load them into the boot, and give advice on the care of the plants as well. Really friendly and helpful.

   Went to this store last night as my autistic daughter wanted to get a toy, so went around the toy section to see what she wanted. We saw a mini moods stitch and thought £18.99 was ok only to find at the till that the toy was actually £49. This was a shock as B&M is supposed to be a discount store. We also found the till worker was not willing to help, she didn't want to go check the price so my partner had to go find it himself, she only called for another staff member to open another till as if there was a huge queue growing behind us, she wasn't even that friendly and told my daughter in a not-so-friendly manner that she needed to take her purchase as she was causing a queue.

   Daughter picked up incorrect priced product, staff wouldn’t check price on shelves made me look, and after checking what they had done is placed loads of that product under incorrect price tag labeled in small writing. Worst part staff wouldn’t entertain checking so seems this is norm to do in this shop. Enclosed is the picture of the shelf for people to make own judgments but at the very least staff should check and explain.

   Went online to find cluedo the child's boardgame, said online they are in stock in Ilkeston and Spondon, got there none of them had one. Why don't these people update their website. It was a waste of my time and petrol.

   This store has changed so much. If you shop there I would just put your head down and go to the section you need. The store is somewhat empty and the staff that are there have no sense or urgency, but I suppose if your stores a mess and such like you'd have no mojo too. Walking round there was metal work strewn on the floor and prong ends empty. An accident waiting to happen. Food and drink hidden on aisles.it was as if it hadn't been closed down properly the night before.mid way through Saturday afternoon I'd get it but not 930 in the morning. Maybe invest more in the people and you'd get more back. Still some bargains if you look. Hopefully will get back to the way it was when it opened
