Been on the phone over 10 minutes now and still not been answered. Need to cancel blood test today as come now with cold overnight & wouldn’t be right to attend.
Went for some ultrasounds today, and the lady performing the procedure was lovely. She was very friendly , professional and kind. Thankyou
I had a minor surgery for an ingrown toe nail my doctor was called Michelle and she was very kind and made me feel very welcome and gave me a sticker I would really recommend this hospital.
One of the worst places to go to get bloods or anything else. The staff are always terse, sharp and argumentative and this morning was no different. I booked online for bloods at 9:40am, it's 0 degrees outside, made sure to defrost my car well before but it took a lot longer than usual, town centre had quite a bit of traffic but I was only a few minutes late on arrival but the car park was full so I was waiting for a woman to reverse out of her space for about 6 minutes! To finally park, I went into the war memorial to get greeted by a short, larger, younger, black haired girl with glasses that I'm now late and they're under strict rules by Donna George that people have been coming in an hour over time, which I said is understandable but I'm only a few minutes late. To which she replied, you're 15 minutes late, I began to explain how difficult it was coming here today and waiting 6minutes on the car park as its full for a space! Chatting with you a couple of minutes, looked at my phone and it was 9:52 so I wasn't 15 mins late I'd have been on time! She said no that's it we're under strict rules of 10 minutes. No body else was there but me! She continued to direct me to someone else in a terse manor saying they've been lenient with people but now they can't. I said you haven't even listen to me or been lenient at all, I would've arrived into the car park at 5mins after my appointment. Ridiculous! Severely inconvenienced me today, no one else was there, I was on time according to her time parameters but she just took a disliking to whatever I was saying. Argumentative, short, terse woman.
New blood test booking system is perfect. Went online on Sunday. Appointment in my break on Tuesday. Went in and sat for maybe one minute when I was called. Truly the least painful needle ever. Did not feel a thing and zero bruising (and I usually get a purple arm). In and out in five minutes. Thanks Congleton team.
very very good my girlfriend had her 1st physio appt there today jan 8th 20. and found it to be a very well organised hospital. with clean immaculate toilets etc. i do so hope the powers that be decide to keep it open. especially after cheadle & moorlands hosp in leek had some of their wards and services discontinued. these smaller cottage type hospitals are vital and are still very much needed. macc can be a long wait and north staffs is so big it can be an issue. so KEEP KEEP KEEP these smaller town hospitals running. dave hall 59 from leek staffs.
“I’m just a switchboard operator” very rude on the phone and sarcastic. Suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum and just asked to be referred to a midwife as I can’t keep fluid down. My doctors told me I need to give them a urine sample to see how dehydrated I am and received very negative and patronising response from a lady who sounded like she was from Stoke-on-Trent. Customer service should be a top priority especially for a switchboard operator! Didn’t want to listen and wasn’t empathetic at all to my situation. Put me off this hospital for hiring such awful staff to answer the phone.
Helpful, local, professional and do tremendous work. Minor injuries, blood test service and physio dept they are first class staff.
Had to wait from 8:45 unti miu opened at 10am this I rediculus when we want our children to be at school but need to be seen before can hav an X-ray 8-5 needs to be there working day like everyone else
