Another excellent experience at Ashfields Primary Care Centre. I rang early in the morning to request an appointment due to an urgent concern. The receptionist was very polite and helpful at all times. I was offered an appointment the same day and was seen on time by Dr Broome. Again, the attention and care I received from the doctor were second to none and my problem was resolved immediately. I have been a patient at this practice for over 10 years and I have always encountered the same level of efficiency, friendliness and cleanliness. Thank you all at the Health Centre for your continued care.

My 9yo daughter was seen 55 mins late and the reception staff were completely unhelpful and were of the opinion they couldn't do anything. How about informing patients of the delay before they arrive for their appointment, by text or a curtesy call? Apparently this is too much work. They didn't even inform patients as they booked in.

Been in Ashfields for 7 years now when we started going to Ashfields it was Brilliant, gradually over the years it has gone down hill drastically. Some of the reception staff are rude and not compassionate, cannot get appoints when needed, and the advice from some departments is diabolical. It seems like they have taken on way to many patients and they always say try 111, no wonder the NHS is broken.

I had an appointment with Dr Waqas Asghar recently and his level of compassion, care and all round professionalism sets the absolute gold standard of how all GPβs could be. Friendly, relaxing but still a consummate professional. Sensing my fear due to the issue I had (painless lump in neck) Dr Asghar went well beyond the normal remit of what we have become used to from GPβs and I cannot thank him enough.

I called this morning in a bit of a panic about my husbands eye as he had had an accident the night before. The receptionist rang back very promptly and gave me a number for an optician in Sandbach who could help and my husband was seen the same day. Thank you for providing a local service so he did not need to go to A&E. We love the new call back service and staff are always kind and helpful over the phone and in person. In a world of bad reviews, here is a positive one. Thank you!

Very rude reception staff with poor communication skills and emotional Intelligence which should be a required skill set when working in this environment. Was rudely shouted at for not wearing a mask without any explanation of the rules or without asking if I was exempt. Was also told by the receptionist that not wearing a mask is a criminal offense which is just not true. Huge wait both in person and on the telephone to book an appointment, sometimes it's that busy on the phone you can't even join the hour queue just to speak to a receptionist and the phone just cuts off. When you do get through its a challenge speaking to a non medically trained person to actually get an appointment booked. Drs and nursers generally really good though and some very qualified medical professionals working here.

I am Disgusted in this surgery They have failed to see to my autistic six-year-old daughters health, She has been waiting for A doctor to help with a iron deficiency which is extremely low due to sensory eating she is limited on PediaSure plus milk and a dry biscuit and has been for the past two years , me as a mother I have tried everything in my power to help my child I am not a health professional I need their help and all I get is fobbed off I am extremely upset because my daughter canβt enjoy school due to her being so tired she should be in full days and heβs only in from nine till one because she gets so tired She has been ill all over the summer holidays in and out of hospital hospital even said that they canβt understand why the doctors havenβt prescribed anything else for her iron, Iβm still waiting for the doctor to fill her forms in for a disability badge I went today to see if the forms were filled in as itβs been over four weeks and they told me the doctor hasnβt signed them when I asked for the forms back they said theyβve lost them now I have to wait to apply for more forms and try and get a different health professional to fill the forms in for my daughter

Excellent doctors & nurses ruined by the most hideous receptionist. My 80+ year old mother has been trying to get an appointment as her leg is going green after a fall. Several attempts have been made but she still refuses to book her an appointment, the last comment was "what do you expect the doctor to do, go to Boots". My mum then went to Boots and the lovely lady there told my mum to see a doctor immediately. Why a woman like that is working in health care is beyond me, utterly disgusting and I will make every attempt to get her out of that job. Only giving it a 2 star as the TRAINED medical staff have been excellent with my mum for years.
