I have given a 1 star,my experience of this hospital is not good,I will complete my post when my mum leaves this hospital. My mum was sent home from this hospital in a terrible state, she has delirium and severe cellulitis and its like she has gone backwards.I had a bad experience with one of the nurses, I double checked this woman's position within the hospital, I asked her for a pair of scissors to cut a hair band out of my mums hair, she looked at me in such a bad way,it took me by surprise, after she gave me the scissors, she avoided all eye contact, very passive aggressive. It didn't end there,I had find out from another patient that my 81 year old mum had been tested for covid, when I asked about this the excuses were unprofessional and proberly in breach of her own professional standards,it still doesn't end there my mum has heart problems and her breathing can be very laboured sometimes, when I mentioned this she started saying well it could be this it could be that.I then said if you had read my mum's notes you would of established that this is normal for my mum. This same nurse had my mum send back to royal Berkshire hospital AMU, this ward had covid when my mum had left there originally to go to Wokingham, this hospital is supposed to be for rehabilitation to get people home ,so why do they get upset when a patient who is capable of using the toilet on there own gets up and goes to the toilet all this putting people in adult nappies to make there lives easier is putting people backwards, as soon as I got my mum up to use the toilet they all got in a flustered state and said no no no we will do it Is this the kind of care we can expect for people in their old age?I am still waiting for someone to call me back about my complaint, it was supposed to be 2 day's later still waiting weeks later. If this is what we can expect from the NHS.God help us all.

I've been to audiology department and experienced: no waiting times; short wait for appointments in comparison to the RBH; clinics that are easier to physically access; friendly, helpful staff; and a nice cafe. If you need to make an appointment and a clinic here is one of the options, I highly recommend booking here.

An old school community hospital located on a single level unlike multi-storey hospitals like the Royal Berks. Visitor car parking is free and is located at the back of the hospital though I wouldn't try using it as an alternative to the station car park. Access to the reception at the front of hospital is via a long corridor passing by some very clean toilets. The staff were very friendly too.

Took both of my kids here after they would born for their baby check ups. The facilities and staff were excellent. It was extremely quiet which was great for new born babies. The car park is good and there are always spaces.
