   David helped me to retrieve the correct amount for my employment settlement after my employer accidentally made a mistake in their calculations. I must stress that the employer made a genuine error and there were no malicious actions, but without David's insight and attention to detail, I would have accepted a significantly lower amount. Along with this, everyone was friendly and welcoming. I've not really been involved in any legal situations before and I had the impression it was going to be very formal. I was really chuffed with my experience and I felt that everything was under control. Even though the wait was scary, David kept in touch and everyone there made me feel comfortable enough to wait for the response. I can't recommend DW enough

   Thank you Rosie for making the sale of my late mother's home so easy. Communication was good, both by phone and email, backed up with real paper copies when necessary. The office is conveniently situated (for me at least) fairly near the centre of Northampton with free on-street parting nearby. All the staff I met were friendly, and the fee structure was clearly explained at the start. I particularly like the "no-nonsense, down to earth" approach, and I would happily use DW Solicitors again.

Her professionalism and attention to detail reassured me throughout the process that everything was being taken care of. Any queries from my side were delt with quickly and explained in a very clear manner. Which as a first-time buyer was greatly appreciated. I will continue to use DW and Rosie in the future.

   I'll start with the good points, Danielle was very efficient with our searches and sending the report over to us. Our mortgage advisor informed us it usually takes at least 2-4 weeks to get this complete but Danielle had it complete in 1 week which was great. I've often heard of people struggling to get a hold of their solicitor, sometimes waiting days for a response or chasing multiple times, I didn't have to do this as Danielle was always very responsive, often replying within the same hour. Unfortunately this good side of the service has massively been shadowed by the lack of administration skill and communication with certain elements of the process. Parts of the process were slowed down by simple things like a name being spelt incorrectly on a form so having to wait for a new one to be sent - this then caused a delay with signing, forms not being included in packs that were sent to us causing many back and forth emails. The biggest headache was when I asked Danielle to check (on two separate occasions) that everything had been completed and all forms were signed as we had a completion date just a few weeks away, I received an email from Danielle informing me she was missing a signed document. This was in regards to a signed plan which we were never informed we had to sign, nor was there any space on the form to sign. To top it off, this was brought up a week before our completion date so it was quite obvious that the times I had asked if everything was completed, the correct checks were not made. This nearly caused us to push our completion date back through no fault of our own. For all of these mistakes, not once was there even an apology or ownership of any of it by Danielle. Unfortunately we will not be recommending DW Solicitors to friends/family or using them again due to this.
