I had been in agony with a frozen shoulder and struggling with constant pain. Thankfully, I went to see Matt Taylor at FIX Physio, who made the correct referral and guided me through an effective treatment plan. The difference was remarkable and his expertise helped me recover far quicker than I ever thought possible. I’m truly grateful for his care and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of physiotherapy.

Following my ligament reconstruction surgery, FIX Physio has provided me with expert care and advice that has built up both my ankle strength and my confidence to return to normal activity. Super friendly practitioners with deep knowledge, a passion for providing the very best treatment, and great chat! Highly recommend!

Really disappointed with the level of treatment, if you can even call it that from Matt. Incredibly hands off approach, didn't even check the injury on multiple visits. Spent most the time typing on his computer. I mentioned my concern with achillies elongation, he just said it was "interesting" didn't even check for it and even worse the exercises he was getting me to do was to stretch that part. I mentioned my concerns at the end of the last session that they seemed a bit of a waste of time. He didn't find time to email through the one exercise he had discussed that session but did find time to send the invoice. Would not recommend and won't be wasting anymore of my money there.

Saw Matt Reynolds for rehab after an injury. I've never known a physio to be so hands-off with a patient. Spent most of every appointment just chatting about the injury/healing, then did a few minutes of light movement at the end and then emailed some exercises through to do at home. Not once did he use the couch or do anything I would class as actual treatment. Kept thinking he thinks it's too soon, he'll do that next time, but he didn't. It's now a few months after the injury and, with what we know now, I don't think he was firm/intensive enough with any treatment in the crucial period immediately after the injury and then worked on completely the wrong goals (building strength instead of regaining range of movement), which has (IMO) been detrimental to achieving the best possible recovery. Weights should never have been introduced. We're now seeing a different physio at another practice, but unfortunately we're now never going to get the result we'd hoped for.

Brett is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you walk in, he’s friendly, welcoming, and instantly puts you at ease. He’s incredibly easy to talk to and creates a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely listened to. His encouragement throughout the sessions makes a real difference—he’s supportive, motivating, and clearly passionate about helping people feel their best. Highly recommend!

I had hip replacement surgery 4 weeks ago and did a local search for a physiotherapist. Fortunately, I found Matt Taylor. I have just had my third appointment with Matt yesterday and I have to say, what a top guy he is. He gave me a huge confidence boost on my first visit and has really motivated me to remain focused on my daily exercises. He explains things simply and clearly, enabling me to have a full understanding of how each exercise will help the different muscle groups. Thanks Matt - I shall be bringing partner so that you can sort out her plantar fasciitis with the Soundwave! Highly recommended!

Rarely do I write a review but the excellent experience I had with Matt has prompted me to do so! I had been suffering with painful achilles for many months. I put this down to increasing my running distance and age! I assumed the pain was something I would have to live with and give up running, but thought I would seek advice. Following my first session with Matt, he diagnosed Achilles tendinopathy and provided an excellent explanation of the various treatments. Matt clearly articulated the problem and defined a clear program of rehab. Following a program of exercises and shockwave treatment I now live without achilles pain and am back to running. So pleased I found Matt. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt. His expertise and enthusiasm is second to none, and he has an extremely positive attitude. He is pragmatic, recognising that we don’t all have home gym equipment, and responsive to questions. He’s also a really decent chap - easy to talk to and genuinely interested in you and your welfare.

I am so pleased I contacted Matt for help following my tibia plateau fracture surgery. Matt listened to my concerns and doubts making sure I understood the exercises and the benefits of following the rehabilitation program he put together for me. His support and encouragement have been invaluable, I would recommend Matt to anyone needing physiotherapy.

I was referred to Matt/Taylormade in March by an orthopaedic surgeon following a ski accident and subsequent shoulder surgery. It's now 9 months on, and after a second operation, and with the continued help and support from Matt, I feel I'm not far away from being back to full working order in my right shoulder. Matt has been great with his hands on work, plus his motivation and support to get me to where I want to be. He works out of three locations which is useful, is very pragmatic with his advice and provides clear exercise plans that you can do between sessions. Because of his close relationships with the local surgeons, Matt can provide them with regular updates prior to your check ups which I and they find very useful. I'd thoroughly recommend Matt to friends and family.
