The staff that helped me and my son were very kind and patient and made my two yesr old feel at ease being his first time getting glasses the whole process went smoothly and any queries I had got answered.

I have had an absolutely fantastic experience in this Specsavers being kindly assisted by a woman called Snezhana. I dropped by the branch spontaneously just to have a look around when Snezhana approached me, she's very well mannered and informative on which frames would suit me. I went in there not sure what I was exactly looking for and with her help, left feeling super confident. Thank you!

Severely disappointed, and I'd maybe recommend using nearby Leightons instead. Took my son for his first eye test as had been struggling to see the board at school, and arrived ten minutes early for his appointment. We then waited around an hour to actually be seen. The eye exam was very thorough and the optician was very helpful, however once that was over we were dropped in the lobby and told someone would be over to help us shortly. Someone did eventually come over to tell us the store was closing shortly. We offered to come back the next day, but were told there was still time to put an order in for glasses before the store closed, so we moved on with the pair my son liked, however as the next optician was measuring the fit he advised that the frames were probably too thin for my son's prescription and that a plastic frame would be better, but he continued to put the order through anyway... Overall, a pretty negative experience, this was our first time having to buy glasses and we were rushed rather than supported leaving us wondering whether we've made a mistake in our choice of glasses due to being (unnecessarily) sped out of the store so they could close.

I have been back to this branch many times to get my eyes tested and to get new contact lenses. Due to various issues I was given the wrong prescription and I went on holiday with unuseable contact lens - I couldn't drive with the new contact lense which caused me alot of stress. Again I went back to get another eye test and was told I needed a different prescription. They ordered the lenses which arrived but now Specsavers can't give me an appointment for 10 days to collect them. I have been a contact lens user for many years (using the same make of contact as before) so don't need help putting them in. Personally , I am very dissappointed with the attitude and response I received from Specsavers Woodley. You really need to get your staff trained to provide a better service when you have caused your customer so many issues and return visits.

Lovely friendly staff, through tests, everything explained properly so I understood. Clear helpful info on the price of my glasses and deals they had, when collecting my glasses, my mum had also had hers tested the same day and had ordered glasses, mum's wasn't ready, but the lady went up stairs and asked to have them rushed through so we didn't have to bring mum out again in the cold. Very nice customer service. Highly recommend woodley branch.

Booked an evening appointment online. When I reached the staff first said that the person who was meant to do the test has left and they sent a message that the appointment was cancelled(which I showed that I did not receive) Then she changed reason to because I booked it in the morning, although slot was open in morning and she forgot to close the slot down. And they can't see me. Very poor admin, they had hours to check the diary and contact me beforehand instead of wasting my trip. Moreover no empathy for the error made !!! Absolute rubbish, would never visit !!
