   I cannot recommend Libby highly enough. She is not only extremely knowledgeable and skilled in acupuncture, but also one of the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever met. After struggling with IVF and finding it difficult to conceive, I came across Libby’s page by chance — and I am so grateful that I did. From my very first session, Libby supported me with warmth, understanding, and genuine care. She became such an important part of my fertility journey, and I honestly believe that her treatments made a huge difference. Before starting acupuncture, I struggled to produce good-quality eggs and embryos. After working with Libby, that completely changed — I was able to produce healthy, good-quality eggs, which ultimately resulted in the greatest gift of all: my beautiful baby. Beyond the treatments themselves, Libby always listened, reassured me, and created a safe space where I felt supported and cared for. Her empathy and encouragement carried me through some of the hardest moments of my IVF journey. I only wish I had found her sooner. If you are considering acupuncture, especially for fertility support, I would wholeheartedly recommend Libby. She is exceptional at what she does, and her care can truly be life-changing.

   I highly recommend Libby for anyone needing help with their fertility journey. I was feeling hopeless after experiencing recurrent miscarriages and had heard lots of recommendations for acupuncture. I found Libby when searching online, and she was just what I needed, so compassionate and conscientious. Within a couple of months of treatments my hormone levels were back in the normal range and I finally felt a glimmer of hope. It was several months before I was able to start trying to conceive again, but in this time Libby helped my body recover and prepare for the task ahead! Seeing Libby became the most relaxing part of my week. Sometimes I would drift off, or we would talk about anything and everything. Navigating the healthcare system can be challenging, and there isn’t much support for recurrent miscarriage investigations. Having to constantly advocate for myself, I felt that my discussions with Libby really helped me to feel more confident in doing this. I was extremely fortunate to fall pregnant again. The pregnancy was a very anxious time due to my previous losses, and I experienced some worrying symptoms in the first few months. Libby supported me and helped me to stay positive throughout and I now have my gorgeous healthy baby boy. I am now enjoying postpartum treatments along with my baby and will be forever grateful that I found Libby.

   Libby is warm, welcoming and thorough. She instantly makes you feel relaxed and like you are in good hands. I truly believe acupuncture helped my husband & I conceive after trying for several months. I thank Libby for always being helpful with my questions and giving great advice! Edit- I have since gone on to have a beautiful healthy baby boy born in March 2025, I went regularly to Libby throughout my pregnancy and I had a great pregnancy and a straightforward birth!    I can’t put into words how incredible Libby is.. she is a beautiful person, inside and out… she was a huge support during my pregnancy, both through acupuncture but also our conversations and advice, almost like a therapy! She puts absolutely everything into what she does and that certainly shines through. When I first met Libby I was quite stressed and feeling rather helpless… through treatment I started feeling calm, at ease and what’s most important hopeful about my fertility journey. I am convinced she’s been a huge influence on my successful pregnancy and say this while I am holding my beautiful 7 week old baby boy in my arms. I will be forever grateful for meeting Libby.

   I’m writing this review holding my 3 week old son.. I found Temperley acupuncture after finding it online whilst looking for acupuncture, because I wasn’t pregnant and had been trying for a while. I think my first appointment with Libby was as much a therapy session as it was a consultation and treatment (& this continued for many of my treatments)! She took a lot of time to find out about me, my lifestyle, my partner and our health and fertility journey. We’d had some tests done and she even asked to see those and gave a detailed review of them - a much deeper analysis than the standard NHS consultation, even though the NHS had also been great. We had no diagnosed issues and so were at a bit of a loss but Libby really put my mind at ease and opened our minds to other things (I’d had a previous miscarriage, worked a very stressful job and my Dad had recently passed away, as had my partner’s sister, so we were probably more stressed than we realised). I went for regular treatments -which I found reasonably priced and a good length of time in her lovely treatment room- and sometimes meditated or laid quietly with the needles in, other times Libby and I would chat and she often had good advice about things - although was never judgmental or pushy (sometimes I’ve found more holistic therapists a bit pushy with supplements or lifestyle choices like eating or not eating meat etc.!). She did recommend some supplements which I took and also made me some tablets which I took - both of which were reasonably priced and easy to take. There were a few occasions when I went for a treatment and had something like a toothache or an asthma flare up and Libby would then treat those ailments as part of my appointment. Once I was pregnant, Libby celebrated with me and started to treat me for each stage of the pregnancy. I wasn’t sure what vitamins to take so she recommended a load and I chose one - which I still think was partly responsible (in combination with my treatments) for a mostly great pregnancy and constant good blood test results throughout (no need for iron supplements etc). Libby was able to treat for any negative pregnancy symptoms I had so they never got too bad (I had nausea, swelling, heartburn and a few other things). I gave birth at 40+3 naturally (no induction etc) and I know this was due to the treatments I was having - including having Libby as an expert keeping my mind at ease when there was talk of an induction date etc. I will continue my treatments now for postnatal stuff and beyond that for routine treatments, and look forward to having her treat me again in the future for my next pregnancy! I really cannot recommend Temperley acupuncture enough!!!

   I went to see Libby after suffering three miscarriages and am delighted to say that we welcomed our long awaited baby boy last month. I saw Libby regularly for a year through recovering from the third miscarriage, preparing to get pregnant again and finally a healthy pregnancy and natural birth. Libby worked on regulating my circulation, digestive system, menstrual cycle and stress levels and I saw noticeable improvements in all of these areas. Libby was very knowledgeable about fertility, pregnancy and women’s health and supported my wider interactions with doctors, specialists and a nutritionist. Her support, empathy, positivity and encouragement helped me enormously with the rollercoaster of pregnancy after loss. I highly recommend Libby to anyone going through similar struggles and only wish I had found her sooner. We are forever grateful for the role she played in creating our perfect little miracle.

   I have recently started to see Libby as I reach the end of my pregnancy. She is knowledgeable and has made me feel very welcome at each visit - making sure that my comfort is her priority and offering me tips for a smoother birth. The treatment is certainly working, I'm a firm believer in this - having had acupuncture in the past for certain ailments - with a high success rate. I would recommend seeing Libby if you are looking for excellent holistic support and a natural alternative to support you throughout your pregnancy :)
