   Chasin over a week for glasses I paid £300 for! Still having to chase! 90 Mins on hold for no one to answer 2 days ago and fobbed off ever since!

   Really great team at Vision express Tesco Portman Road Reading west, they were very nice, friendly and professional and accommodated for all my needs, they are not always the same people that serve you so that goes to show how attentive, well mannered and trained these people were, I was really happy to get my eyes finally tested and issued some glasses that helped with my motorcycling to protect my eyes and vision to read road signs,, cycling, reading and looking at the stars like I did as a child. I can not see how it could get any better if you see what I am saying.

   On 12th August, around 11:15, I visited Vision Express with a valid Specsavers prescription to buy lenses I had already tried and found comfortable. The only staff member present glanced at it and told me they didn’t have them — only “similar” ones — and offered me a £35 one-off trial instead. I explained I travel constantly and asked if I could purchase a full year’s supply outright. She refused immediately. Even after calling customer service, who said it should be possible, the same staff member still said “no” without explanation. Three days later, I am holding the exact same lenses — for a full 12-month supply — that your staff member told me were “impossible” to get. They were delivered and purchased directly from Vision Express. This shows a serious lack of product knowledge, initiative, and customer care, and is exactly how you lose loyal customers and sales.

   I had an eye test on 24th March 2023 .The optometrist Ametoj Singh didn't pay to much atension on what I șed about my vizion ,The scann wasn't very clear for my left eye and he șed is going to repet the scann .He also told me is going to give me eye dropsuri becouse I told him I have dry eyes .After he did the wall exam for my eyes he transfer me to a girl outside for glases . I have to mention I have problem with my left eye to see far away and can afect my driving. This girl (I don't know the name ) give me glases just for reading . The optometrist didn't care any more about me anymore after hi transfer me to this girl ,he didn't repet the scan like he told me and he didn't give any prescripsion for eye drops . I am really desipointed about this tratament and I just ask my self what about all the people wich they go there and pay for this pore service and actually they are paying for this optometrist mistakes to get the wrong prescription for glases . I intend to go to the hist level to do this complaint .If he doesn"t care about people this optometrist dosn't deserve this job . Im going to attach a foto with his name and I hope people they going to avoid this optometrist .

   The optometrist I saw was brilliant (I didn't catch his name but it says K. Farooqi on my prescription), he really put me at ease about some things I was concerned about and took the time to explain things in a way I could understand. I felt like he definitely cared about my individual case and wasn't just going through the motions - thoroughly recommend this opticians!
