The concept of the escape room was good but we were slightly disappointed by a few details. Despite correctly solving the first puzzle the lock malfunctioned and was difficult to unlock; we time whilst repeatedly inputting a code. Further delays were caused by the game operator not responding quickly enough to switch on clues/lights as the game required him to react to our input. Needless to say we did not get out and whilst I acknowledge we may not have completed in any case we did feel frustrated. The game runner was polite and friendly but just needed to be more attentive and responsive during the game.

Two linked games, two completely different games. Dystopia is old school, grungy themed and padlocks upon padlocks. Utopia is high tech, gleaming white. If I were only playing one Dystopia wouldn't have grabbed me, but I'd have loved Utopia. They should definitely be played as as pair though as combined they are superb. The contrast is perfect. We were well looked after by Tom. Really enjoyed this and definitely recommend a visit.

My first ever go at an escape room experience, and it was an absolute blast. The story, decoration, and props really made you feel like you were in a dystopian future. The puzzles pushed us, and we did take a few hints to help us complete the game. If you haven't tried this before, give it a go - you won't be disappointed. Finally, thank you to the staff for looking after us.

Our game master was Charlotte, she was lovely, we had issue with a few of our team being late, and she offered us a different time slot so they wouldn’t miss the game, was very thoughtful. We did The Signal, was one of the best escape rooms we’ve ever seen done, you get to decide how your game ends. Would highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back for more rooms to escape! Thank you Charlotte for making our experience great!

This was brilliant! My kids wanted to do this but I had no idea whether it would be suitable for them. 12 years & 9 years. When I called to enquire a lovely lady, Millie went through the details with me and we booked to play 'the signal' on the same day. We went along, 4 of us in total. 2 adults, 2 children. We had never done anything like this before and unfortunately we didn't finish in time but that didn't stop us having lots of fun. Millie was our game supervisor and she was brilliant. Now we have a full insight we will definitely be back to try a different room. Would definitely recommend

Six of us played 'The Signal' - one of us had done an escape room before, the other five of us hadn't, so this was an excellent game for beginners and the more experienced alike. Euan was our game supervisor and was fantastic - friendly, informative, and gave us just the right amount of clues to keep us going. I'm not going to spoil any surprises, but I will say that all of us thoroughly enjoyed our game. There was plenty for everyone to do at the same time, meaning you can all work together as a team to solve the puzzles and escape the room. My first escape room and certainly won't be my last - looking forward to trying the other games now. Would thoroughly recommend Make Your Escape. We will certainly be returning!

Friendly staff. Challenging puzzles. High quality rooms. We had a great time in the room we visited. It was a good challenge and we needed a few clues to get out. The staff were friendly and happy to help wherever possible.

I recently booked a large cooperate event here for a team of 20. The hosts could not be any more helpful - they responded to queries quickly and communication was brilliant and enthusiastic. I'd spoken to a few folks over the phone and over email - all brilliantly helpful. But the ones that stand out to me are Helena who amended our large booking quite last minute, and Shelly who I believe stepped in on her day off to amend our invoice to reflect our change in numbers two days before, allowing us to get the invoice through our processes. I'm grateful for the flexibility and the teams dedication for going above and beyond. Our hosts, of which there were three, were absolutely brilliant too. We split up and took on Dystopia, Utopia and Spellbound. First two we were able to clear within the hour - be aware Spellbound is not for the faint of heart! We were a chatty and unorganised bunch, and the patience they showed us was just phenomenal. Cannot recommend these guys enough for large parties or cooperate events - well done guys!

Great escape room venue with some very unique rooms that have good stories. Spellbound, in particular, is a fantastic game that would suit larger teams (even up to 10 players). Our Games Master was friendly and provided help at the right points
