   I don’t normally leave reviews however I don’t understand the negative reviews for this doctors surgery! I recently moved to Park Road Group Practice after moving into the area and have had nothing but positive experiences. I’ve been able to get a GP appointment via the online booking system every time and have been seen on the day for more pressing needs which was quickly assessed via the booking system. The doctors are all lovely, kind and caring and take concerns seriously. They listen to you and won’t fight you over simple things like referrals or further tests. The receptionists are also fantastic. Nothing is too much hassle and admin matters are actioned extremely promptly. I don’t dread the arguments with doctors receptionists anymore! Compared to other doctors surgery’s, PRGP is definitely up there with one of the best and I hope I never have to move again!

   My experience has been extremely disappointing. Despite visiting the facility 6 to 7 times, a proper diagnosis was never made in my daughter's case. Each time we visited, we were seen by a different doctor, and yet none were able to identify the issue. It was shocking to see that they relied on Googling the symptoms to prescribe treatment. My daughter's condition worsened because they refused to perform an ultrasound, which was clearly needed. I was eventually forced to take her to a private clinic, where she is now receiving proper care, though her recovery is taking longer due to the previous negligence. This level of service is unacceptable and truly pathetic.

   I moved house a year ago and my whole family have been with Park Road Surgery since. We have all required both urgent and routine care on a few occasions since registering with them, and have been very satisfied with the care we have received. The reception team are always friendly; professional and compassionate. Both myself and my young daughter and have been seen by s number of Drs and Nurses and they have always been kind, professional and efficient. I needed to be seen urgently back in the summer, and they managed to squeeze me in for an ECG, and then consequently referred me to the Ambulatory Urgent Care Unit at FPH which saved me a substantial wait I’m A&E. My daughter has had tonsillitis twice this winter, both times we have called to make an appointment l, been placed on the triage list, called back promptly and seen within 2 hours and prescribed appropriate antibiotics and collected the medicine from the attached pharmacy. I cannot fault the care and service we have received, and would definitely recommend them to locals searching for s good surgery.

   HORRENDOUS PARKING. Parking on the road is a gamble as you might get a ticket. Otherwise every doctor that I’ve spoken to has been nice and helpful. However, the receptionists are not very welcoming and can be quite abrupt.

   Amazing experience. Everytime I need to see someone or speak to someone they are there. Always answer the phone and are really friendly and helpful. Cant fault them. Doctors/paramedics explain exactly why things are happening for me to understand why its happening and what needs to be done. Thank you for your amazing work.

   New patient to the practice having just moved to the area. I was very sad to leave my family GP and have to start somewhere from “scratch”. I didn’t want to be a stranger again. I didn’t need to worry, I saw Dr Ahmed for the first time yesterday and he not only assessed my condition but cared for me as person. Almost like he had been my families doctor for generations. This kind of bedside manner is rare in the UK today. A credit to his profession. Also just a note regarding reception staff as I’m aware of the negative reviews. When I rang to book the appointment I got a first rate service, and on the day of my appointment I missed my name being called on the board but the reception kindly helped me. When rebooking at the end I received a very good service. I’m not saying the GP reception is perfect. They can’t be. They are the people attempting to please everyone and often get abused. If you’re the person who speaks to them the moment after they are abused maybe they won’t be the shiniest. Or could they perceive you as the one abusing them? Then they definitely will appear rude.

   Just awful, the doctor staff are amazing I can’t fault them. But the reception team are terrible, trying to book appointments or talk to anyone is a difficult task, so be prepared! They’re patronising, unhelpful and dismissive, they haven’t got a clue how to talk to people or have anything useful to say. A computer system would be more compassionate.
