   I drive and pickup my friend, he is a tourist. 1 week later , I got a PCN charge £100. It said i stay as a private land and stay 5 minutes. It’s CRAZY!

   I think this maybe a migrant hotel now to house all the immigrants that come over to stay, seems like they get a pretty decent ride and just as good as the English people who live and work in the town if not better. Always see lots of bicycles locked up, not sure what is going on with this place, not a hotel any more I don not think.

   Stranded near Reading with a travel fridge and a dog, desperately seeking the location of a hotel that would accommodate us. Enter Ibis. They told us over the phone just to show up because there's plenty of room. Night staff were super friendly. Very warm reception and free hot drinks. Generously sized room, as others have mentioned. Breakfast was included in the price, and morning staff were also very helpful and courteous. My wife needed to sleep off the effort of the night before but they still happily made me a bacon butty for her (breakfast is until 9). But checkout wasn't until 12 so we still had time to snooze. And even after all of that, midday reception was kind enough to put our bags into the luggage room and even plugged in our fridge! Nobody ever said no to us the whole time; always don't worry, they'll sort it out. Even the housekeeping staff were patient and helpful, and we merely had to navigate their Henry hoover in the corridor! You may notice the place could do with a dab of paint or a couple of carpet nails here and there but I challenge anyone to find this a reason to complain after such great service at such a good price. If you go, remember to be courteous and you will be well met in kind. Oh, and don't accidentally go to the big Ibis in town, or the Ibis Styles on Duke Street. Apologies to the night staff at Duke Street because we thought we had spoken to them on the phone but they don't allow dogs!

   Recently booked for one night at short notice intending to find another hotel the next day. But the friendly and helpful staff combined with clean and comfortable rooms was a pleasant surprise and I stayed for another three days. Also worth a mention is the excellent continental breakfast plenty of choice and good quality. There is a charge for the parking but as I didn't have the car that wasn't an issue for me but at £5 a night on top of your bill it's something that you need to take into account. Overall a good value hotel but as always the staff make your stay and here they are excellent.
