   Small, nice, clean and quiet. Does the job for a short stay. They have rooms with shared bathroom and rooms with private bathroom. My 2 days stay was pretty quiet with a view of the river. No complaint. Check-in was also easy. The Wi-Fi wasn't so great. It is 15minutes walk from train station. About 10 to 12 mins walk to the city center. During my stay I did not have need for parking and kitchen so I don't know what to expect.

   Charged me twice for the room!! No idea how they got hold of my bank details but I would be extremely careful about booking with them. I booked through Booking.com who have always been reliable but the fact that Riverside Rooms charged me too is dodgy. When I tried to get a refund, they wouldn't return the money and it had to be escalated by Booking.com. 17 days and I still haven't received the money. Will never stay here again and advise everyone else to avoid them too. Area didn't feel particularly safe as a young woman staying there by herself. Also, the price of the parking is ridiculous and you're not even guaranteed a parking space. Extremely unclear where you are allowed to park. I had to come down for work and needed to park before work started (9:00 am). I was promised that this would be fine however, the manager slept in and I was unable to leave my car there because otherwise I would be fined £100. Had to spend £16 to leave it in a car park all day which was extremely pricey given I had also paid for parking with Riverside Rooms.

   Absolutely disgusting treatment! A friend of mine has stayed here and was charged twice for their room. They have gone though a huge level of difficulty to try and have this money returned, currently with no success. The buisness will not engage in correspondence with them and are also ignoring the booking service used to arrange the room (booking.com). There has been nor response for 17 days. All this is on top of a phone call I received during the stay detailing the terrible service from the staff at the buisness. I am writing this review dispite not personally staying here as the distress and difficulty caused by this situation has created the need to financially assist my friend as they are a student with no means of income. Therefore involving me in the whole experience of dealing with this business. I would avoid staying here at all costs. Evidence for these claims can be provided.
