So happy with the service at the urgent treatment centre, my baby girl had a hair wrapped tight around her toe and the triage nurse got some doctors to see her straight away. The two doctors were amazing, they managed to free her toe. So grateful as we’d tried to remove it at home and unsuccessfully. Thank you so much.
I have only just had a baby 5th December 2025, I have had to come in as in pain from a C-section, was seen by Jo and Katie who were on duty on the 14th December, they were exceptional and put my welfare and baby’s welfare first to make sure I was seen quicker so that baby didn’t have to stay in the waiting room for a long period of time. They are a credit to the NHS and I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you again. X
A short visit for a minor treatment. The staff are all efficient and the nurse that saw me knew what she was doing, was friendly, tenacious with a tricky issue and did a great job. If I was really sick I would be relieved if it was my local hospital. Good stuff from a great team.
I can honestly say this would of been a 5 star review if it hadn't of been for my encounter with Mr Webb. Every member of staff bar him has been kind, caring and had a desire to help you. The complete opposite from Mr Webb. Didn't want to know, upset me greatly to the point I had to complain twice about him. His registrar awesome, absolutely awesome. Mr Webb even gave me a wrong diagnosis. Took me off a waiting list to finally get fixed without even reviewing an mri report! Not sure what I did to deserve being treated like that. The way his registrar treated me was chalk and cheese to Mr Webb. Thank you Declan for trying your best to help me, thank you to every other member of staff from reception right through. You were simply awesome in every possible way, I applaud you. I am getting my operation at another hospital who are more than willing to fix me. I not only need my toe which is up permanently to be released but I need to have 3 toes broken and ready set because they're all out of place. If Mr Webb had of looked at my mri results he would of picked all of that up. Disappointed.
We went yesterday after my wife stood on a nail at our campsite. They recommend we come to have it looked at. The service was excellent all staff 10/10 from reception to the Nurse Practitioner. They cleaned the wound and dressed it plus a tetanus jab. Many thanks
Today was my second visit with these 2 lovely ladies. My toe nail surgery wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be as Lou and Terri were extremely calming and compassionate and explained everything in a caring manner. Every credit to them for what they do. I had hoped it was going to be Lou doing my surgery as she was very reassuring at my pre op
Extremely friendly, very caring, efficient and professional. All the staff that I came into contact with are a credit to the NHS and Buxton Hospital. I really appreciated the time taken to assess my injury and provide guidance and support.

Whilst on a coach trip from Plymouth my wife was taken I’ll and we were taken to this Hospital where we were afforded exceptional treatment from the staff there which was both professional and caring who helped us at a very traumatic time for us both We would like to thank U.T.C Louise Mabbott Caroline Hancock Sarfarazyounall Student And all of the staff we cannot thank you enough and will always remember the care you gave us Kind Regards Mr & Mrs Laycock Laverne & Ernie
