Joined some friends, who are members. To be honest, other than location, I struggle with why you would be a member .The decking is great, but the staff who were on the bar were disinterested in customers and helping people. Although, they did seem interested in chatting to some of the younger female customers for considerable periods of time.

Even if you’re not a rower, this is a remarkable find – wonderful location, gorgeous old club, very spacious, comfortable, and bright room. And if you are a rower, the memorabilia is amazing and a drink on the deck watching the crews go by is a blast. It’s like being invited to stay at the Vatican for an evening.

The rooms were wonderfully decorated. The staff were impeccably helpful, relaxed and welcoming. We were made to feel very at home. At breakfast, I had the best Full English I have ever eaten. It was beautifully cooked and artfully arranged on the plate. There was just the right amount of everything. Even the grilled tomato and black pudding, often soggy or bland and tasteless, were wonderfully delicious. Compliments to whoever was on the kitchen staff last Sunday morning and many thanks for the great start to my day. Best wishes, Paul

I enjoyed my stay here. Cosy, comfortable and clean rooms themed to various rowing teams. Location is excellent and central to Henley. Not a full 5 stars because the breakfast service was painfully slow.

Obviously a very luxurious place to stay with a wonderful location. If only their cheese and chutney sandwiches had some chutney in them all would have been perfect.

Fun way to enjoy Henley, if you know a member. Great views of the river, and decent food. Leisurely service is a nice change from the usual hubbub of modern life

Went here for Henley Regatta. Lovely indoor area and the outside area was really nicely done. Drinks were horrendously priced. £25 for 2 wines! Lovely atmosphere, will definitely be back.
