Visited in the week between Christmas and New Years, expected it to be very busy but it wasn't too bad. The gardens were all very well maintained and beautiful to walk around, with some very funny Christmas decorations! The animals were all active and (without having much understanding) seemed happy in good enclosures. There were more animals than it stated on the map and website, and it was an incredible day out. To make it even better, I pre-booked and paid the extra to feed the Capybara's, Gary and Sharon were adorable, it was a lot of fun, and the keeper (whose name I can't remember) gave us a lot of great facts and made it an experience we will never forget.

Absolutely lovely day out at Beale Park! Beautifully maintained grounds, happy and well-kept animals, and the little train is a real highlight .Great fun for both children and adults. Perfect for families, with plenty of space to explore and enjoy. Highly recommended!

Fantastic day out with my teenage son. The park was really quiet and lovely to walk around. We did the Feed the Ring Tailed Lemurs experience which was great. The young man who took the experience was fantastic and really knew his stuff. We bumped into him again later when he was feeding the otters and he took the time to tell us about them and answer our questions a real asset to the park. Also, had a lovely lunch in the cafe watched by the peacock trying to get in the door. We will definitely be back.

A perfect day out with kids! Beale Park has so much to do — a great outdoor play area, an indoor soft play, and even a little train that takes you around the park. The small water pool is brilliant for kids of all ages to splash around safely, and there are plenty of animals and birds to see too. The Wild Café has tasty food at reasonable prices, plus there are ice cream vans around the park which is always a hit with the little ones. Entry fee is fair for everything that’s included, and they also put on different shows to keep everyone entertained. Such a fun and family-friendly place — highly recommend!

We travelled from the Midlands to take my wife's nan who lives in Reading to Beale Park as she has always wanted to go. It was well worth the 5 hours of driving. The place has plenty of parking and was spotless inside. The staff were all really helpful and cheery. Lots of lovely places to sit and eat. All the pathways are nice for a wheelchair too. Plenty of animals and well maintained gardens to look at. We liked the fact that you just go round in two big loops so no dead ends to get lost in. We all had a great time thank you. Only thing is that when we go out to a place as a family we get a fridge magnet and you didn't have any with your place name on. Shame we don't live closer as we would deffo return for another visit.

Fantastic day out with family. We started with the train ride which gives a sneak peak to the entire park quickly. Then we started strolling around the park looking at the wildlife in the park . The kids enjoyed it especially as some of these animals are also rare. There are couple of huge trampoline with sand outside to protect. Clearly a good highlight to get the kids jump. Also there is ample space for picnic which can utilised.

Absolutely stunning park. The floral and fauna were both spectacular. The staff on entry were really polite and friendly. My toddler loved the little train ride. The site has a few lovely eateries and picnic areas. I especially loved the Japanese Garden and the beautiful parrots. Wil definitely visit again soon.

A park like no other! Enjoyable for all ages and food prices in all ranges. The architecture and grounds are a thing of beauty to admire not to mention the animals and the roaming peacock! It's a day worthy experience and worth every penny of it's ticket price. Entirely wheelchair accessible with lovely staff and tidbits of information on hand.

Really impressed, so much to see and do, not just for children but adults too! All well maintained, looked after and clean. Animals all seemed happy and had lots of space (I am not an expert of course just the view of a normal person). Information on all the animals easy to understand and pictures too for the little people. Play areas are fantastic, for all ages. Toilets clean and easy to access.
