Disgraceful service. Terrible when I was seriously ill and recently would not see and ended up in hospital for surgery. They won't even see me for my daily dressing change and won't refer me to a wound clinic. Tried all day trying to get the care I need while the receptionist was very rude and told me the nurse is entitled to Annual leave. Would give a 0 if I could. Just to add the nurse at the burton hospital is trying to get trent meadows to do a referral to wound clinic so I can have the treatment to stop infections.

The absolute worst. I put a request for an appointment to discuss a serious issue in on the triage, hear nothing for two weeks. It was a glitch? Okay, now I have to fight the receptionist for an appointment in two weeks time. I get the appointment, the doctor refuses to talk about the issue I wanted to, instead insisting on talking about something I had ALREADY DISCUSSED in my medication review. I put in ANOTHER triage request and get sent a text saying to book an appointment for the next week. I go to the link. The next available appointment is in 4 weeks. So, 8 weeks wait and 3 attempts to get an appointment to discuss anti-depressants. Unbelievably cruel behaviour.

I have been trying to get a suitable appointment since Monday using the new triage system. Call backs did not happen and offered appointments were over a week away or cancelled because I did not answer....in bed poorly! I have submitted two triage forms tonight neither of which have been acknowledged....on my way to Samuel Johnson in morning... Not sure I should drive but need to be seen. Sooo disappointed in the service.

The new online appointment system is brilliant, much easier thank you. Reception staff always very polite and friendly. The midwife Rachel is excellent, as was the student she was working with. Dr Lewis is incredibly knowledgeable, empathic, patient and caring, a credit to the NHS. I have felt very heard and supported during my experiences with Trent Meadows thank you.

Doctors and nurses for the most part seems polite and I've had some really nice staff now and then when I've had appointments. However GETTING an appointment is a joke. Call 48 times at 8am, either get disconnected OR there are no appointments left. What is the point of a doctors if you can't get seen. They totally messed up numerous referrals of mine - one of which the admins straight up DIDN'T SEND for almost 6 months - which is absolutely appalling. I'm not a complaint person but I've complained to this practice. I get some private healthcare through work but the practice won't even sign paperwork that lets me have access to it which is horrendous.

I have been a patient here for nearly 10 years, I have in the past experienced issues. However, I have to say they have noticeably improved. The new doctors and junior doctors are absolutely fantastic, which in my opinion is the biggest improvement here. The team that organise and manage everything behind the main desk are also amazing. This is an area I had previously had issues, but no more, their support and professionalism is exceptional. The only reason I haven't made it 5 stars is I need to see this continue. But the entire Trent Meadows staff should be proud of the improvements they have made. As for the complaint of getting in touch or getting an appointment, yes I too have called over 200 times in 1 day to try and get an appointment, however look at the expansion of housing local to trent Meadows, its incredible they can cope at all, so we as patients have to give them credit, I've never not got an appointment eventually.

I’m not someone that needs regular use of the surgery, it trying to get through its like winning the lottery. I called 6 months ago whilst having a mental health crisis told nothing they could do and gave me a number for the local crisis team that just rang out at anytime of the day. I currently need a repeat prescription for non emergency health issue but told I need to see a DR before it can be issued. Can never get through it just cuts off. My previous practice in another part of the country was easy to get appointments in advance, face to face or on the phone whatever you required. They need more staff as they just can’t cope with the people on the books

This is my second occasion now of trying to get an appointment with a doctor that has led to complete failure. What a poor system you operate. The first occasion ended up in me having to go to A&E to get resolved for what should have been dealt with by GP (going to A& E was the practice recommendation). This Occasion is just a simple re-instatement of repeat prescription as i am struggling following Doctors review advice to try coming off the tablets. Just give us a call back the Doc said if your struggling. Yeh right like its that easy. Would give no stars if i could. This is all directed at the practice Manager who is driving in this poor management. Shame as it never used to be like this.

My mum wasn’t well and needed to have a test as I was sure she had an infection. I explained she wasn’t well enough to go to the surgery. The receptionist had no appointments but said she’d get practice nurse to ring, which she did. I dropped off sample and they sent it off straight away, explaining results might take 48 hours. Karen rang me back after 48 hrs to check on mums progress as results hadn’t been returned and she’d been off. Later that day results arrived and Dr Lewis rang to check on mum and prescribed antibiotics. I know getting through to the surgery can be difficult And service hasn’t always been great. But this week they went above and beyond to help - so thank you

Worst GP ever. Impossible to get appointment since September. Receptionists are rude, doctors not very smart (google my illness - time to back to school then) Someone needs to do something about it. Had car accident also suffering with mental health, and I cannot get sick note for my employer. SICK!!!
