The staff at the Uttoxeter branch are excellent. They are friendly (welcoming and cheerful), professional and the optician is the best I have ever been too. She is knowledgeable, clearly explained things and is an expert in her field.
Excellent. booked an eye test and got my new glasses a week later. All the staff were polite and efficient. They were eager to help and explained everything very well to me. Highly recommended.
I had such a great experience with the team at Specsavers — especially Jana, Poppy, and Anisha. Jana was incredibly nice and helped me fix my glasses quickly and kindly. Then I received a call from Poppy — it wasn’t the first time I’d spoken to her, but it was certainly the best customer service call I’ve ever had. Her enthusiastic and cheerful manner genuinely made my day. Finally, I met Anisha — twice! She was not only incredibly nice but also very competent. She took the time to explain things I should look out for due to a recent diagnosis and really focused on finding the perfect prescriptions for both my glasses and contact lenses. She listened carefully to my needs and impressed me throughout. All three showed outstanding customer service and made my experience at Specsavers absolutely wonderful.
I had an excellent experience at my recent appointment at Specsavers in Uttoxeter. My eye test was on time and every detail well explained including the changes to my prescription. Jana deserves particular thanks and recognition for the attention to detail and care she gave while assisting me to choose my new frames and in taking perfectly accurate measurements to fit them. I collected my new pairs of glasses earlier this week and I love them. The prescription is sharper and my headaches have stopped. Thankyou so much! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have been going to this specsavers for years and I can’t believe the service. Thankfully the optometrist was wonderful which is why the review is 3/5 and not 1/5. The optometrist was very helpful and knowledgable with my contact lenses and vision. Unfortunately the customer service received was horrific. The optometrist ordered for me to do an additional test after my eye test which the lady that was dealing with me seemed to have an issue with telling me I had never done it before and was rude when telling me how to do the test. I was told to go look for glasses while the test room was in use without any specific guidance on which glasses I could have and after selecting a few I was told I could not have any as they were too big. I was given the smaller pair and told to have them as they were the same but I didn’t like them and felt uncomfortable saying I wanted to look for others when I was the one paying and having to wear them. Moreover, I rang to see if I could collect the glasses early as a pose to the appointment given and was told to ring on Monday (today) to see if they were ready. They were not so when I questioned whether they would contact me when ready or if I needed to go next Wednesday(appointment given after eye test) I was told I didn’t have an appointment meaning it must have been cancelled when I rang about collecting them early but this was not communicated to me. I am shocked at the customer service received and will be looking to switch branches.

Cracking customer service, everyone working there is polite, friendly and efficient. No hard sells and the process for eye test, prescription and order went like clockwork with barely a second lost. Been a long time I got such good service well done to the team
Audiologist appt yesterday pm for an elderly relative. Staff were attentive and considerate. Appt was punctual, professional and friendly. Outcome was new hearing aids that will make a tremendous difference for the wearer and all around him. Great service, nice folks and good outcome. Thank-you.
Really impressed. Nipped in here instead of my usual branch (Derby) as my glasses had bent. The member of staff said that he will try his best to bend them back but if not the Derby Branch can do it (as I had bought them there) He took them away, bent them back, cleaned the lenses and then asked me if I wanted the section near the nose of my glasses changing. Was in and out within 10 minutes and couldn't believe my glasses, they felt new and he really looked after me. Thank you!
What a wonderful experience! Hands down the best service I’ve ever had at an optician. There are two other Specsaver branches closer to me both of which I’ve been to and the Uttoxeter branch is a cold above. The optician was amazing, showed me the difference between my old and new lenses whilst in the test room which I’ve never had before and was really useful. I was served by Jana for picking and fitting my new frames which are the best fitting I’ve ever had. It was a thorough and personal service from start to finish and I can not recommend them highly enough.
