Recently had new glasses from the stone store. From start to collection all staff have been amazing. So friendly and helpful especially Jaine. Would highly recommend this branch.

Specsavers at Stone was highly recommended to me by friends who have used the service. The test itself was straightforward and very quick, the result of which was that I required a new pair of varifocal specs. The lady who dealt with me choosing glasses was very chatty, maybe a little too much, but I did not have full confidence that she would help me choose the best glasses taking into account the requirements I had. I found the choice of glasses very poor as there was limited choice compared to my previous opticians. The offer of 2 for 1 is very misleading.
Staff were very friendly and professional & were able to answer all of my questions. The store was very well presented & there was no waiting time.
To be fair a little annoyed, I was asked via email to go back for my 2 year check up, so I did , I explained that all good except im struggling with reading etc so I would like some proper reading glasses not varifocals, the optician who did the test recommended i stick with varifocals because my distance eyesight had changed etc so I asked if we could go down the route of 1 varifocals and 1 reading she wascompletely against this? So I ended up with 1 varifocals and 1 varifocal with larger reading section, I really struggle with these glasses when I ware them I go very dizzy and struggle to focus so I've gone back to my old glasses which work ok and have brought a kindle to read with . Top and bottom I'm £450 out of pocket. Not happy and will have to find another opticians.
Julie S was brilliant with me she helped choose my glasses and helped me decide on my prescription. I have since gone back to Julie to change my lenses with an upgrade! Again cannot fault Julie S Happy to help professional and lovely natured lady very caring a credit to the team.
What a breath of fresh air my visit to Specsavers in Stone was today. All the staff are friendly & very helpful. At no point did my visit feel rushed in anyway. The lady that did my eye test was lovely & explained my results to me in nice simple terms, so easy to understand. There are a fab selection of frames to choose from & they have a good price range. 2 for the price of 1 on offer at the moment for frames of £69.00 upwards. I would highly recommend using Specsavers in Stone.

Fantastic service. Helped me switch my eyecare and subscription from a different provider. Massive shout out to Abbie who sat with me for over an hour trying to get all the information and everything sorted to switch over my subscription of contact lenses. She was such a pleasure, made me feel at ease and was truly the reason I even decided to switch over to Specsavers. She is a real asset to the company. GO ABBIE :)
I had an eye test today for the first time in the stone store. Very efficient service . Seen on time . They created a new profile for me as no info from Stafford is passed on which I was surprised at I had three different tests and the results were clearly explained when I asked. No new prescription needed and being over 60 the test was free . I did pay £10 for the extra eye scan test of my optic nerve .
