   This is just a callout to Maureen on the 26 Yellow (Ikea) bus who was so helpful to a visitor to Reading who didn't have a clue where he was! 'He' was trying to find his way to a place on an industrial estate - and Maureen wasn't going to let him just wander off into the wilderness without some idea of the probable right direction! By a process of putting together the vague information of the visitor - she concluded that I should continue in "that" direction. And she was spot on - and done in such a gentle and friendly way too. She had also kept me informed as I alighted the bus - so she's a real ambassador for Reading buses! If only other drivers in other towns were as willingly helpful as this! Thanks M!

   My son loves the buses so i take him on journeys all the time, however I do not. A lot of the buses are filthy on board, window handles broken on the Bronze route 11 for years so cannot open for air when its crowded. Lately i've noticed drivers deliberately driving off from people who are only a few steps away from getting to the doors. I'm aware there is a timetable to stick to however imo this is completely unnecessary & cruel.

   Great service always getting better. Not always perfect with timetable or google maps and bus route timetables. Removed a lot of teleprompters from bus stops. Typical of public transport of having to share your journey with other passengers but that is what public transport is. I have one good suggestion with the tap on terminals maybe to encourage more people to use public transport is to do what the train line does and charge you for the distance of your journey with a tap on and tap off system and not the full fare depending on distance travel like back when you could pay to travel 1,23-4 or full fare journeys

   If you wish to buy a travelcard or have a general travel enquiry which you want to ask a human being about, please visit this Travel shop. 26/11/2022- Travel Shop no longer open on Saturday’s so if you don’t work in Reading during the week it could be a challenge if you want to see someone face to face!

   Very rude lady who has no interest in helping and told me to buy season tickets online and all the info is up there. This office is literally empty most of the day, Reading buses please close this office as it does not pay its own way and use the money where it is needed. Pay your drivers more and get rid of useless operations like this one

   One of the best bus companies, or possible the best in the country. Very friendly and polite drivers, excellent value tickets and nice buses that are always on time. Real-time info is always accurate. Highly recommend.
