Very strange booking system. We receive a letter after tests on our son asking us to make an appointment to see the doctor regarding our son’s results. A bit worrying but ok. I have just got off the phone with them on day 3 of trying to get an appointment only to be told to call in another 2 days. My wife and I work in jobs where taking an hour off to sit by the phone is not possible. I have taken a day off for this and was basically told there’s a queue of 38 people so I need to move along!!!! Fuming and scared about the results!! Why an appointment could not have been made and sent with the letter is beyond me. If we couldn’t make the appointment we could ring, not this stress inducing run around that still hasn’t actually got us any further than causing my wife, son and I super stress.

We have recently moved into the area and transferred from another GP surgery. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about moving, as our existing GP practice had been very good. Our experience so far has been nothing but positive. The transfer process was really simple (using the NHS app), and surprisingly quick. About two weeks after transfer, we were both invited for flu jabs. We booked online and on the day the process could not have been quicker or more efficient. Setting up our repeat prescriptions was also very straightforward and hassle free. The surgery team have also proactively reached out to my partner to arrange some tests as part of a mediation review. So, three months in, our experience to date has been completely positive.

Just moved to the area and a huge improvement on our last surgery. Have young children and have managed to see 3 different doctors since we moved, they’ve all been excellent and have taken my concerns very seriously each time and referred us straight to hospital where needed. Have always been able to get an appointment that day, love the call back feature, and reception staff seem friendly and professional. Very impressed so far.

My wife tried to renew her prescription for a very necessary medication on time according to the medication. When she chased the surgery she was fibbed off by the receptionist not once but 3 times even after explaining she had already had to cut down her dosage and was suffering withdrawal symptoms. Maybe your reception staff need retraining of given some empathy training. Not impressed!

I just rang this surgery and waited more than 20 minutes for my call to be answered when apparently I was number six. When my call was answered I explained very clearly why I was calling. The reception said they did not understand and was exstreamly abrupt. They had this sense of urgency and impatience that caused me a great deal of anxiety. They pointed me in directions that meant they would not have to deal with the call. Like telling me to put it in an email when I didn't need to . And then telling me to go elsewhere when I did not need to. I asked a question that any surgery could answer, but she didn't feel like it . She asked her manager and they didn't feel like it. Then when I pointed out that the call had bee difficult I was told I was being rude and that I was being hung up on. I wasn't hung up on. I was put back in the queue . A while later the same incompetent receptionist who speaks like a robot , picked up the call and said " hello how can I help you?" That's how bad she is at being a receptionist. She can't even hang up the phone adequately. I told her I would like to speak to the practice manager and her colleague told her to hang up and she did. Bravo Brook lane surgery you earned this review.

I feel lucky to be part of such an amazing surgery. There’s nothing that I can fault. From the receptionists to the nurses and doctors, I have always felt they are friendly and well organised. The doctors have always shown genuine interest and they want the best outcome for you.

So glad I moved to this Surgery, they have always been helpful, reception/admin staff are lovely and they have some amazing GPs. Their COVID and Flu jab clinics are like well oiled machines. The best GP surgery in the area!

I have been with this surgery for over 7 years after moving to the area. I have never had any issues with any of the service that this surgery provides. The Doctors and Reception Staff have always been exceptional. Even in times when services are stretched and during lockdowns, the staff here who are also human beings with feelings and pressures that are put on them by the government and the public are trying to do their very best under the relentless pressure they must face every single day. Hats off to them and thank you for being there when I need you.

Over the past 2.5 years my experience with this surgery has dramatically improved. The reception is much better, it’s become easier to get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe. The doctors and nurses at this surgery have always been great.
