I have used Ace Cars for about a year now and they have always been very reliable. The drivers always help me with my shopping bags and take their time helping me get in and out of the car. A great service I highly recommend.
Have used Ace many times to take me and my family to airports for holidays and have always received top class service. Always on time and the calm driving style used has always made us feel at ease - even on the busy and hectic-feeling M25 on the way to or from Heathrow. Airport returns have always gone well too. albeit not always smoothly with the roads as busy as they are these days. Old-style knowledge of the UK road network is a refreshing change and can be invaluable when the journey gets a bit hairy with diversions and jams - not always a given with some less experienced drivers these days who seem to need a sat-nav to find anywhere! We have also used Ace very occasionally if any of us have had the misfortune to need a trip to local hospitals and cannot fault the service - an excellent local company.
got me home etc fine, cab was clean, comfortable etc, showed up on time and got me home safely. For that they would have gotten probalby 4 or 5 stars. However, the conversation was highly inapprorpriate and offensive. Driver was less than complimentary toward POC, clearly racist and derogatory towards other cab firms and hard working people who work as reliable honest cabbies. He made comment of the regular alr clients in Bigglewade do not feel safe feel safe being driven by non-white drivers and will only use him. Was mortified at such blatant Alf Garnet racism. Thought I was in black cab in London again! Would avoid them again based on that vile diatribe. The rest of the "service" was as expected for a cab firm, but the diatribe ended up getting them one star,. I can never reward small minded bigoted companies, no matter how good the rest of their service is.
