I stayed here last night 3rd Dec, was in Room 325. When i arrived to collect my key, the lady on reception, really couldnt be bothered, just gave me the key, and that was it, no how to get to your room, basicily nothing. Room 325, is a double room at the front of the hotel, it has 3 windows at the side, and 1 at front, room could of been cleaner, the bathroom needs some tlc. I didnt use the bar or have breakfast, so cant comment on them, you get great views from the room, see photos There is a weatherspoons, macdonalds, greggs, KFC with 5 minutes of hotel, and hotel is near shops like primark, poundland, and a bus from outside of hotel, takes you to the beach. Would i stay again yes.

Perfect location for a city break. No parking but other city parking can be used. Ideal if using public transport as it is short walk from the bus and train station. ( We used park and ride) Hotel itself could do with come TLC at some point, but clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed. Breakfast is very responsible priced. All you can eat buffet. Only choice of egg is scrambled, not a problem for me but I know others would prefer a choice. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

First time staying at this hotel. I was checking in late at night. The check in process was efficient. I was staying in room number 408. Which was at the rear. Having read previous reviews about noise from the front of the hotel. I was able to pick my room myself. The next morning I got up and went down for breakfast. It was quiet which suited me fine. Overall a good experience. I would definitely stay here again. Especially with its close proximity to the Railway Station.

Dirt everywhere. Massive cobwebs in the hallways must have been there a while had dried out flies in the webs. Bathrooms in the rooms where filthy. The two ladys i spoke to at reception deserve five stars for the job they do very friendly and helpfull. Thank you ladys for the extra help. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking in the city center. Only problem is the smokers right at the entrance when they could be moved 2 meters away to a blocked off doorway perfect smoking area right there. Its not fair on non smokers and children to have walk through to enter and exit the hotel. Wouldnt use this hotel again unless it has a massive cleaning the dirt in this place would need at least a month closed to put right after leaving a felt filthy. I would not use the bath or shower in our 5 day stay here because the dirt and mould was that bad. The food was good coffee was standard had a 3 syrups to add so was really happy with that. Come on travellodge you let us down for only the second time since i started as a travelodge custemer.

Good place to stay if you want Aberdeen City on your doorstep. The only down side is there is no parking on site. There is a close multi storey car park that charge £10 per 24 hours within walking distance.

Room is very comfortable, clean and spacious. Powerful shower. Reasonable weekday rate. Within walking distance from city center and train station. Breakfast is decent. Will definitely come back again.

2 nights emergency stay over in Aberdeen. Location is excellent for public transport both trains and buses, plenty of places to eat and drink, shopping centre next door. Front door window was boarded, lift or stairs to reception, friendly receptionist very professional, offered a hairdryer, they are just travel hairdryers. We had 2 keycards we had trouble with one been temperamental. Room Floor in bathroom needed a good bleach it was grotty, dirty marks on the tiles in bathroom, Bed linen clean and well pressed and bed made well, however, their was makeup and a bottle top left on the floor from previous guests, the skirting boards needed a good clean along with back of wardrobe which had a good inch of dust, the surfaces in the room were clean and mirror, we couldn’t get a signal of tv, their is a small kettle in room I advise bring your own water as it would have to be filled from tap in bathroom so decided to go and have a drink and bite, 2 bottles of lager £8.40 and a member of staff who was taking the food or bar order wasn’t around but we were served by a nice staff member for drinks. Ordered Sausage and mash, thick cut chips and garlic bread, chips out first only to be told they had ran out of baguettes so no garlic bread and would I like onion rings instead (no thanks) then about 5 minutes later the sausage and mash arrived, I’m told it wasn’t good and the Thick chips I was expecting were normal frozen chips. I was waiting for a refund but it didn’t appear so I bought another beer and said just take the price of the g bread of but she couldn’t and she didn’t know how to do a refund so was told to go to reception in the morning, which I couldn’t be bothered to do. There was a nice view along with the roof tops but it would be far better if the beer bottles were removed from outside the window. Breakfast is nothing to rave about. This Travelodge is more of a sleep/work base. I’m I been harsh I think fair giving two stars, I hope I am been constructive, more staff training and cleanliness awareness is needed. It wasn’t all bad but it wasn’t the best. which is a shame due to the handy location. Maybe they are experiencing staff shortages. Would I visit the Travelodge again, the jury is out!!

1 Man kitchen (very efficient though). Rooms standard Travelodge, however, I got a family room which was massive! bath when taking shower was not draining water fast enough. No iron or hairdryer in the room. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets available. Can be noisy at night
