Absolutely fantastic service all staff especially pharmacist are amazing and friendly and go the extra mile far better than other pharmacies around. I'm so pleased I changed to this pharmacy
Whilst the staff are pleasant enough to me, this pharmacy has a persistent issue with the tardiness of their pharmacists. If you arrive at 9am when they should be open, half the time I have been there to collect prescriptions at 9am, the pharmacist is late and so the staff cannot dispense medications until the pharmacist has arrived. This has been an ongoing issue for years and is not just a one or two time occurrence! I would strongly suggest that whoever is the duty pharmacist leave home earlier in the morning as I would be personally embarrassed to come in late all the time when your staff who cannot dispense medications without you all make it there promptly and on time ahead of you. I feel sorry for the staff members who must on an almost daily / weekly basis have to apologize to people trying to pick up prescriptions at opening time that the pharmacist is late yet again! I would strongly recommend anyone who needs to collect prescriptions at 9am to go somewhere else or until such time the pharmacists who work here realize they need to leave home around 30 mins earlier each day. Edit: The week after I posted this review, the pharmacist was late again and the staff member had to apologize to me again. Also the pharmacist has told or implied to my family members to not come here anymore and claimed they were only late a couple of times. This is not the truth as over the years I have waited outside at 9 am on more that 10 occasions and my criticism isn’t on one pharmacist but there are two different ones that are often late, a man and a woman. I do not find it professional at all to be told to go somewhere else just because you didn’t like my review when it is not the customer in this instance thats wrong! Surely that is the worst possible thing you could tell a customer who you have let down and made upset where it is you that has regular issues with opening on time. I would have thought you would try to rectify this by promising to turn up earlier so that you are not late anymore and apologize and not ask someone to go somewhere else in future as your best resolution.
My elderly dad came here last Wednesday. He said he has never experienced better treatment. The pharmacist was lovely and treated him with respect and kindness. More people should be like this pharmacist, and the receptionist was also very helpful. We'll definitely be coming back.
This pharmacy is fantastic. I went in today with an emergency, as my medication had run out and I couldn't get an appointment to renew it for another few weeks. The duty pharmacist, Laila, was so helpful, she phoned through to the doctors to get an emergency prescription so I wouldn't have to be without my medication, and she was so kind. I cannot thank her, and the pharmacy staff, enough!! Truly amazing service.
Above & Beyond ! Thank you. Even running on less staff you took time to help me sort out my mothers medication, you enabled her to have her tablets in blister packs & have them delivered to her door. Wow! You are truly amazing & I thank you.

Great chemist, nothing is too much trouble
This pharmacy is next to the park road surgery so is very convenient if you have attended the doctor's surgery. It is however tiny so they don't always have what you need but will always be upfront if this is the case so you are free to go elsewhere. That said, the sheer convenience of this pharmacy, the amount of stock they hold in such a small space and the helpfulness of the staff warrants five stars.
This pharmacy is extremely unprofessional! Last time my doctor sent a prescription to this pharmacy I called to check if my prescription had arrived. They confirmed it did and I received a confirmation email as well. When I came to pick it up in the afternoon, I was informed that it had not arrived. I wouldn't have minded to wait a day longer but I do mind being lied to and go there for no reason! This time I collected a prescription and they only gave me half the quantity of what was prescribed!! I cannot believe how poorly this pharmacy operates and it scares me to think what else they get wrong!
