   The optician who saw me and conducted the eye test is a true professional, noticed and identified issues some of the previous opticians has failed to. He took it upon himself to explain and wrote me a referral. Anne on the lens sizing desk is an angel, she’s such a wonderful person. I highly recommend Specsavers derby branch at Derbion Mall

   Very good and thorough service here, with a 2 stage consultation for your glasses, and when they arrive, another session to ensure that the fit is perfect. Communication was very good via email and text from consultantation to collection. Highly recommended!

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly and made to feel comfortable. The staff were professional, attentive, and demonstrated genuine care throughout my appointment. I particularly appreciated the clear explanations provided at each stage of the eye test, as well as the patience shown in answering my questions.    Good friendly staff, and a good service. I was the first through the door on the day I went. Everything was clean, I was seen to by 3 different people (start to finish) by the time I came to pay I was left alone to look at the frames, no hard sell.

   Re hearing tests. Do not book on line. My advice is do not book at all. The computer system is so poor that I turned up today, after they sent me 2/3 text messages to remind me of my appointment, to be told that they didn't have my booking. Admission was that the software isn't passing GP appointments or web appointments through to the live system in the shop. I turned up to be told that I have a duplicate appointment and could not be seen.... despite me being there before the other person that apparently had the same appointment time. What made their appointment more valid than mine - I have no idea? It was really casual..... come back in 4 hours they said... like I've got nothing else to do. Poor Poor Poor Poor service. Thoughtless. Wasted my day. Put other things off to be there and wasted other peoples time too. At the end of a day a nice lady rang to apologise for the inconvenience but its way too late. I went to Boots next door and received a much better service immediately, they slotted me in given the inconvenience caused by SpecSavers. Take my advice - use Boots instead!

   A warm welcome from Perminder and then a very thorough eye examination with everything explained clearly to me. The manager Rachelle went above and beyond expectations to find me the perfect pair of glasses, I am extremely pleased with the service up to now and I'm looking forward to collecting my new specs in a couple of weeks.
