Excellent accommodation. Hastle free. Security gates parking . Quiet street. Clean warm rooms. Much better than other chain type hotels etc. Will return for sure when in Derby
Stayed one night for a night out in Derby what a fabulous place clean and a great night's sleep. Will definitely stay over again.
Great place to stay. Plenty of room inside. We stayed in the Chatsworth suit and it was fantastic. Love trees out the back of the bathroom window with squirrels in.
Absolutely amazing little getaway spot, owner Nigel has excellent customer service. Private gated property with private parking. Room was absolutely amazing. Clean tidy and comfortable. Absolutely loved my stay here. Definitely will be coming back.
A truly excellent place to stay - clean rooms with neat decoration, quiet location yet still very close to the city centre. Highly recommended for bikers due to the off street, high gated parking. I stay in derby about 4 times a year, and this will be my go to place! ( ps I have recommended the place to my work colleagues, who very often stay in the city!

Thanks Nigel for a wonderful 2-night stay in your very nice home! We thoroughly enjoyed the well decorated room and spacious bathroom with rain shower and separate claw foot tub. Nigel was extremely attentive and quick to respond to us before and throughout our stay. Would highly recommend. On east outskirts of Derby close to Nottingham. Not far from Chatsworth House. We had a wonderful 4 days at the lodge, thanks to Nigel & Dawn. They are great Hosts and very attentive to every detail. Due to a flight cancellation and a long day, we arrived quite late in the evening, but Nigel was there to assist and insure we would get settled. Accommodations were terrific. The Lodge was our 'base of operation" as we visited friends and family in the area. Also near by, in walking distance, were great Cafe's and restaurants as well as a small CO-OP store for for everyday needs. You couldn't help but feel like family. Highly recommend the Lodge.
Lovely one night stay on our journey home from Yorkshire. Well presented room, beautifully decorated and well equipped with a fabulously luxurious bathroom with a large shower and bath. Set in a quiet location with a kind host. What else do you want? Would recommend without hesitation.
Cracking place. Home from home, forget a hotel room. Lovely host, facilities & amazing beds. Spotlessly clean, such a comfortable & welcoming place. Nothing was to much & the owners offered amazing touches. Hugely recommend. And have done personally myself a with my parents enjoying the same attention to detail too during there stay. Thank you Nigel for everything. We will keep referring as it’s a lovely accommodation & service that you offer
