We stayed for two nights. Very peaceful. Arrival was easy with a friendly greeting from Kay. We took as recommended the number 66 bus (just a few minutes walk around the corner from the campsite) into Romsey which was a very pleasant town. The White Horse Inn near to the campsite we can recommend for food with a nice interior or garden area. We paid £70 for two nights. The facilities were a little basic for the price, we did feel in comparison with other campsites. The showers were annoyingly on 5 second timings and there was a distinct smell from perhaps the dirty mops /water bucket left out for patrons to clean behind themselves. Overall though we did enjoy our peaceful stay. Thank you.

Excellent camp site, lovely warden. Helpful, clean facilities. Flat well kept grass. Electric hook up to most pitches. Quiet!!

Stayed a few nights. Nice quiet site (october) Had 2 showers and 4 toilets, a chemical waste area so everything needed. Shower blocks clean and showers free. Could do with more lighting around the park. If you have a big car and van the pitches are small and struggle to put on an awning. Good location to walk to Romsey which has everything need and a lovely canal walk. Dogs welcome and no issue with having 4. Bin available but no recycling which not an issue to us.

Nice adults only site near Romsey with very spacious pitches. Some road noise with a difficult to spot entrance. The facilities are in need of some improvement, we experienced cold showers, toilets that wouldn't flush and flooded floors. The washing up sink was too small and with no cover, meaning you would need an umbrella if it rains! Enjoyed our stay at this great location but sadly will not be inclined to return unless the shower block is given an update.

Just what we want. A quiet adults only, well drained level camp site with clean facilities. All within easy access to the many attractions, eateries, pubs and walks. Not too far from the other many attractions Hampshire has to offer. Visited in August 2022 and writing this review as we are booking again for this year 2023.

Lovely campsite with helpful owner. Stayed here in -7 temperature and outside water taps frozen! However showers and toilet block kept beautifully warm and clean. Bus stop outside for Romsey and one for Winchester up short hill. Short walk across the main road to pine wood for great walk for dog.

Absolute gem.of a site..ive stayed here several times now, adults only, dogs allowed. Very quiet, facilities were great. Lots of drinking water taps, spaced out pitches. Its my favourite place to camp of im honest!

The site was small and well spaced out. 15 areas. Shower/Toilet facilities were at the very end of the site. Only two showers and three Toilets. Very basic press button shower that had a minute release, so you have to keep pressing during shower. I was in a Motorhome, there were plenty of taps for drinking water, make sure you have a hose and tap connector. There was no drainage area for releasing your waste water. And only one chemical area for use. For the price of £30 a night we were very disappointed. Regarding the bus service, if going into Romsey the stop is a ten minute walk. Winchester my advice get the bus to Romsey and stay on it for Winchester. The walk to a bus stop is ridiculously long on a no-path route.
