“Both Richard and Eleanor were very helpful in getting us into our new property as soon as possible. They also made sure we knew what facilities were available nearby, and where some of the best places in town were to visit!”
“We recently used Michael Rhodes to sell our house and purchase our new house. They were great throughout the process and at times when solicitors seemed useless they were extremely helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough!”
“I have recently had an experience with Pearsons in Romsey, and I want to give a special thank you to Karin for all her hard work. She was absolutely lovely to deal with from start to finish. As a client, I found her incredibly professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile, trust me when I say nothing was ever too much trouble, she kept me informed and reassured at every stage. I highly recommend Pearsons.”
“Just purchased our first home through fox and sons romsey! Everyone has been amazing! Always get back to you in a timely manner, always willing to help! They did viewings late and on their days off so we could see it! Nothing but good things to say! A big thanks to Meg and Kieran who have been chasing the sale through! Furthermore they put me in touch with Rhodri who sorted out our mortgage, he was amazing and willing to spend all the time you need asking questions and making sure we understood the whole process completely, would highly recommend dealing with this company and it’s staff! Thank you everyone!”
“My purchase was dealt with by Luke. He was upbeat and helpful throughout. Phone calls and emails were always responded to quickly. An excellent service from the whole team too - thank you!”
“Daniel, Scott, and the entire team were absolutely fantastic. They’re incredibly personable, calm, and composed—even when the pressure is on. Scott managed the viewings with professionalism and punctuality, always showing up on time to meet prospective buyers. Daniel was the glue that held the chain together, and the office team (the girls!) did a stellar job keeping everything running smoothly. Altogether, they operate like a well-oiled machine. Highly recommended!”
“1st class. Staff were great, good banter with the barman where nothing was too much trouble! Our room was superb, clean and had lovely personal touches. Breakfast was great along with the staff too. We were on a business trip but would love to go there again regardless of the 4hr journey!”

“Excellent celebration lunch for 11 people today. Outstanding service from Debbie from initial contact to settling g the bill. Food was fantastic, nothing too much trouble, we will return very soon”
“I really enjoy running my photographic studio from Basepoint Romsey. Not only is the space ideal for my needs (I was able to decorate my unit to create a perfect studio setting), there's also plenty of parking and easy access for my customers. The security arrangements are very reassuring too. The atmosphere on the site is relaxed and friendly, and the folk in the office are always very cheerful and helpful. They put on lots of events and coffee mornings for us, as well as holding networking events and putting us business owners in touch with various training resources. I started my business here in January 2006 - I was attracted to the flexible terms and the fact I would be able to move to a larger unit on the site as my business grew - a real plus! I'm now approaching my ten year anniversary at Basepoint and can't imagine being anywhere else. Can highly recommend it, it's a fantastic place to work!”
“My husband and I stayed just for one night a couple of weeks ago but would definitely stay again when visiting the New Forest. We mentioned we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary and were treated to a bottle of wine delivered to our room. The staff were lovely, all very welcoming, Susan was the main lady who was so friendly . By the time we left, it felt like we'd known her for ages. The room was clean and bright . Also noticed it was a dog friendly place to stay. Well recommended.”
“Went for a saturday night family dinner. Walked in rather than booking a table due to other plans falling through- would definitely recommend! Staff were accommodating and lovely, with good service. We had 4 different dishes and they were all to a good standard, a little more expensive than other pubs in the area but the food matched this. Lots of decent vegetarian/vegan options that have clearly been thought out rather than being an afterthought, very impressed. I had the risotto which was delicious. The only downside was one of our wineglasses had a lipstick stain on it, but everything else was clean and I imagine this is not a regular occurrence. The pub is also dog friendly, including some tables in the restaurant area. Lots of parking. We will definitely be returning!”
“We came down from Scotland and stayed in one of the Superior Rooms. Full air con, very roomy as it is an accessible room. Had plenty of room to manoeuvre my power chair. Staff are very friendly and remember you from previous visits. We had meal deals so enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Everything was excellent. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting family and friends or going on a cruise.”
“Our room was very nice and cleaned to a high standard. Bed comfy, exceptionally clean bathroom. Staff; Gareth went above & beyond in helpfulness, nothing was too much trouble, esp helping with my wifi problem. Jackie on reception was friendly & professional. It is so nice to meet staff willing to help and appearing to enjoy their work. Thank you. We highly recommend this Premier Inn.”
“We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly, check in was quick and easy. Room was normal - we had 2 pop up beds for the kids. Only negative comment is the mattress was too firm for us. Breakfast was lovely in the morning. Location was 15minutes away from Paultons park.”
“Always very helpful Alan is very good with our cat xx”
“It doesn’t get much better than Gambledown Farm! We hosted our wedding weekend here and it was truly perfect. Tamara and her team were incredibly welcoming and supportive every step of the way. Having all of our friends and family stay on site made the whole experience even more special. From the very first planning stages through to after the wedding, Tamara went above and beyond - we couldn’t recommend Gambledown more, whether for a wedding or even a cosy staycation. The grounds are immaculate, beautifully green, and set against stunning countryside with plenty of charming farm animals. If we could do it all over again, we absolutely would!”
“Although we did not end up buying our next home through Henshaw Fox, we had a fantastic experience when viewing properties they had on the market. Ella was excellent, with prompt communication and being great at the viewings. We would not hesitate to recommend or consider using Henshaw Fox in the future.”
“We travelled from the North East on a recommendation of a relative to stay at this location as near to family, we were in Lodge 8 a 2 bedroomed lodge with a hot tub we originally booked to stay for 7days but were able to extend another 3 days as the location enabled us to spend time with family and visit various attractions. The Lodge was of a high standard a lovely welcome tray plus toiletries, towels and bedding were of a high quality a lovely interior with plenty of room the hot tub was checked every morning by a member of staff. My husband enjoyed the putting green.”
“Stayed for 2 nights and loved it, extremely clean and comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful, had full English breakfast which was perfectly cooked and kept us going all day, will definitely stay again when down that part of the country”
“An excellent B&B in the heart of the New Forest. Beautifully appointed bedrooms that are serviced each day. Bath as well as a shower in the en-suite. A good choice of full English or Continental breakfast that you order the night before. Very welcoming hosts offer a high standard of service. Highly recommended.”
“We booked to visit this campsite the day before arriving. Like a lot of visitors, we had visited peppa pig world which is quite literally around the corner. On arrival, the campsite appeared neat, tidy and very well laid out. We were greeted at the gate and were immediately given information on the facilities and given the WiFi password. There are a few cars, bikes and scooters for the kids as well as a cabinet which contains DVDs and books. We were really impressed with our stay, and have decided that we will be staying here again in the future.”
“Incredible all around. Only stayed for one night, but the rooms were impeccable. Great service and incredible land curry! They let me borrow their wall outlet to plug in my USB (huge lifesaver) since I forget my adapter at the last hotel. Definitely give them your business.”
“A lovely cosy pub. Excellent service and lovely food. Went for lunch with a friend so cant comment on the rooms.”
“Lovely little pub with friendly staff. Little back area to sit out side in all weather as its under cover. Can't comment about the rooms as never stayed there”
“A massive thank you to Ali and Nick at Lyndhurst House. We stayed in the cheekily named Horse Box room, a gorgeous en-suite room on the 1st floor of this immaculate, homely, boutique bed and breakfast in the centre of Lyndhurst. Ali and Nick were the perfect hosts while we visited the area for the Southampton Boat Show. The breakfast was delicious, with loads of variety, and all local and fresh. Highly recommend a lovely long stay here.”
“Such a great experience. Wonderful welcome by lovely hosts. The accommodation is excellent. Quirky and in keeping with the old building but the hosts have managed to ensure all comforts are available. Will definitely return”
“We stayed in a big group; 5 couples with kids aged 6-9 (19 people). Micklemersh farm was great, lots for the kids to see, accommodation was so much better than expected. Staying in Monarchs view, Bluebells, Foxglove, Shephard Huts and Archers Retreat. I would certainly stay in Monarchs View again, loads of space and acted as the communal house with space downstairs for that many people. The games room was ‘rustic’ but the kids loved it. It is a working farm so can be a bit noisy, and you so you can’t be completely hands off holiday parenting. All round highly recommend.”
“Exceeded our expectations in every aspect. High quality, excellent prices and service. Would do again and highly recommended.”
“Absolutely fantastic stay, accommodation is fantastic the food is out of the world and the staff especially Sarah, Jess and Megane behind the bar and in the reateraumt are fantastic. I will definitely return. And highly reccomend to all. Well done guys!”
