   I had to unexpectedly stay here for about nine nights after my husband was taken to the nearby Southampton general hospital - not only were the staff incredibly welcoming and lovely, but they were so accommodating when I had to add extra nights on last minute as I didn’t know how long I’d need to be staying. They kindly moved things around so that I could stay in the same room, which was very kind of them. The desk is open 24hrs which was very helpful when I’d be coming back late from the hospital and it’s very well located in a nice area. I never struggled with parking even when the hotel was full and the car park was full of larger work vans taking up multiple spaces. Parking was reasonable at £5 per night. The rooms are very clean and fairly modern and even the free WiFi was good. There is a premium WiFi which I used so I could work and that was handy too. There’s also a Beefeater onsite which does pretty decent food and a big Sainsbury’s a few minutes’ drive away. All in all, I’d just like to thank the friendly staff for making what was a tough time, just that little bit easier.

   Overall our visit was good. Everything was great until 6:30am when they received a delivery causing a huge amount of noise. (On a Sunday!) Not even the sound proof windows could hide the sounds of clashing metal coming from the car park. The room itself and the service were lovely.

   Did not tell us about a meal on arrival when booked breakfast, only found out in restaurant. Got good service from both. Could not get a reduced parking price as on letter I got back so had to pay the full amount.

   Stayed here after my sons Operation at Southampton General . Lovely service. Room nice and clean . After an eventful 24 hours they made out stay very calm and relaxing ... Next day I called a taxi from the taxi phone at reception as we needed to get to the train station. Taxi company quoted around £20 and a 50 min wait ! Receptionist Rebecca kindly helped me with a cheaper and more prompt taxi service by calling me another company. Very helpful as we are not from Southampton and dont know the companies. Big thank you especially to Rebecca Will definitely be staying here again

   We came down from Scotland and stayed in one of the Superior Rooms. Full air con, very roomy as it is an accessible room. Had plenty of room to manoeuvre my power chair. Staff are very friendly and remember you from previous visits. We had meal deals so enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Everything was excellent. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting family and friends or going on a cruise.

   Hotel review LEDs didn’t work No leg rest Internets absolutely from 1992 Mysterious door Stand was dirty Under the bed was messy And worst of all bath was scratched Toilet door didn’t work Honestly I have been to better hotels Food review There was quite enough food Staff were polite Food was awesome Juices where good as well So breakfast was good

   Stayed for one night served its purpose at a reasonable cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful would stay again for a cruise not far from the port. We stayed in the building away from the main reception no lifts so was a bit of a pain with large suitcases so bare that in mind !

   Good location for us , staff excellent. Strange no heating in room's!!!The battery had been taken out of the heating control and same in all room's apparently. Beefeater next-door very good but best book as vert busy.
