Absolutely useless Pharmacy. Booked a Flu Vaccine and when I went to have my appointment I was told there was none left. Apparently they had a lot of walk-ins so they just gave me vaccine to someone else. No help whatsoever and did not even contact me to let me know they had none left
After hearing a lot of complaints when I was in tesco waiting at the pharmacy yesterday I have to speak up. I spoke to a staff member and asked about the hold ups and was told 2 people had retired and another left. Leaving vacancies to be filled. Leaving them with very few staff. I have always got my script here and they've always been good so please remember they can only do what they can in these circumstances and hope they can fill the vacancies ASAP. I shall be staying with them.
Have been given incorrect advice on medical situations (when sent by 111) and medicines/treatments, on more than one occasion. While staff are pleasant, the service here is very slow and usually a big queue. When asked for help regarding a prescribed medication, a pharmacist told me to read the instructions - quite rude when all was needed was some simple clarity from their labels to the doctor's instructions, which were contradicting. On other occasions, pharmacists unhelpful with their new responsibilities to assess and prescribe for some simple cases - they could care less unless you're going to buy products from them.
I have been a Tesco's Chineham pharmacy customer for many years and have never had any problems at all, reading these reviews it's like most of you are talking about a completely different shop. I have always found the staff polite, kind, knowledgeable and always friendly and courteous. I have my monthly repeat prescription collected and issued through them every month and my repeat has 13 items on it, all my drugs are always there when I need to collect them never any issues. The staff there are brilliant helping me and assisting me over the years. They know me by name and I know most of them. This pharmacy has many services available such as: Blood Pressure Flue Jabs Pharmacy 1st General Health Advice And a Consultation Room. I advise you all to give this place another go as they have always been brilliant to me and my family. I would happily give them a 5 out of 5 all day long every day.
The worst Pharmacy I ever saw. It happened a few times that GP sent medication and they say it is not on the system. I have to call 111 to be able to continue antibiotic therapy. Then I went to a different Pharmacy to collect this medicine and they told me that they can't give it to me as it is on the Tesco Chineham Pharmacy system! Another time I went to Tesco Pharmacy to collect antibiotics and they said again it is not on the system. Again I called 111 to be able to get this. I got fed up with this pharmacy and changed my designated pharmacy for a different one. Today, when I was collecting my regular medication - the lady said there are more medicines for me. All my antibiotics and nasal spray which Tesco Chineham Pharmacy said is not on their system! One antibiotic has only 6 tablets in - for 3 days only. I remember that a few weeks before I was prescribed antibiotics for 10 days of treatment but they gave me only for 7 days. Now I found that where the other 3 days have gone. I need all those antibiotics in April but Tesco Pharmacy was lying to me about them. Unbelievable how unprofessional they are!
The people who work here are very rude, I would recommend going elsewhere and getting prescriptions sent somewhere you will be treated with kindness instead of having prescriptions snatched out of your hands and being talked to rudely. They failed to even care about the fact that they were doing this to a pregnant person. Really shocking behaviour.

I would normally rate tesco pharmacy and staff a 5 out of 5 stars. Not today. Sunday 10th March 2019. I phoned the pharmacist to ask a question about a medication prescribed and interactions. He was the rudest, most unhelpful man I have spoken too. What a shame for tesco chineham.
