I’m very disappointed with the service. My prescription was given to someone else, and I emailed a complaint three weeks ago. I was told the head office was handling it, but I still haven’t received any response. Three weeks later, and it feels like the head office is not interested. Very unprofessional.

I have never felt so dismissed so rudely before at an NHS establishment. We were scheduled for invited appointments for a 3.45 and a 3.50 appointment. We were told to sit at the end of the shop and wait. I could overhear someone at the desk talking about a dissatisfied caller to someone else behind the counter which is unprofessional in it’s self..we were not offered an explanation as to the process and that actually the person giving the injections was the pharmacist fulfilling another task…at the 12 minute point with no idea of what we were waiting for and at which another couple had arrived, I courteously asked if there was anyone in the room and what happens next, as it was clear by notices on the door that one should not enter until ‘instructed’ to do so and there was an indication that the room was engaged…no sound at all and in a process of a likely queue forming it was not an unusual request to ask what is happening…the response was immediate and patronising; be patient the pharmacist is doing something else and will call you when ready. I reacted with a ‘don’t accuse me of impatience and felt that the customer service attitude was very poor… as indeed I felt the attitude of the individual. Why not tell those waiting that the pharmacist was doing another task, which is fine and will call you when they are ready. The notice on the door ‘not to enter until ‘instructed’ would better be said as ‘invited’. Regrettably the attitude of the pharmacist had appeared to have rubbed off as she was also rather short in her attitude too. Look if someone is having a bad day it should not be seen by others when you are in a customer service delivery environment. My wife followed me for an injection but was told she is not eligible; a different matter bit not delivered in a friendly way resulting in my wife leaving abruptly…we felt the experience was far short of what we are used to from the NHS and it’s partners. We shall seek our injections elsewhere.

Great pharmacy, recently left a different pharmacy as you're always made to feel unwelcome. However since changing to winkebury I've had such a great experience! Went in with infected stitches and the lady was very helpful with looking and giving me advice. Really bright and friendly when I go in to collect my repeats.

Winklebury Pharmacy are fabulous , and the only pharmacy I will use. They always have mine and my daughter’s medication in and waiting for us, and on the occasions I have had to ask for the medication to be re ordered, it has been done so straight away. The staff in the pharmacy have always been incredibly helpful and supportive, whenever I have needed advice from a pharmacist or other staff, they have always gone above and beyond to help. But also on a personal level too, they really do take the time to get to know each regular customer, obviously that’s harder to do if you don’t use the pharmacy regularly. The pharmacy has regained its family feel, and that really does show.

Went in at 17.10 on Tuesday for an emergency prescription as I was really poor was told it was an hours wait even though it shut at 18.00 told them I wouldn't wait I would suffer till the morning.went back. Went back in the morning was the only person in the chemist was told it still wasn't ready and could I come back in the afternoon. Luckily I was to poorly to argue working for the nhs the customer should always come first.

Missed my wife's repeat. Missed my repeat by a couple of weeks. Don't seem to get texts anymore when scripts ready. Realised my script was not done after ran out of meds over the weekend.Really seems to have gone downhill in the last six months or so.

Poor staff, called them up over a week ago to put a repeat prescription for my son just to ring up today to find out it’s not there and they didn’t put it in over a week ago so now my son has no milk… the staff are not reliable at all

This is the best pharmacy I have ever used. The staff are great and the shop is clean and well stocked. If they have not got the product (which isn't very often ) they get it as soon as possible. They are kind knowledgeable and super efficient.
