Extremely slow and the pharmacist was very rude. Told me he would not see me even though there was only 1 other person in the pharmacy and it was still open for another 15 minutes. He wouldn’t even look at the photo on my phone so he could quickly advise me rather than having a full consultation. Gave me no advice as to what to do next or where to go either.

Waited 15 minutes in the queue handed in my prescription, was told I can do that for you now, take a seat. Waited. 20 minutes and went and asked how much longer would it take. Was asked my name I gave it and it was still sitting by my he till and not even been seen to. Need more staff

Always seem to be queuing for what feels like an eternity!. A couple of times I've been stood outside nearly 15 minutes past opening times and they just look at you and carry on chatting to one another.

Poorly run chemist. Very rarely you go in there and your prescription is ready. They have to make it up which takes 45mins +. Then they tell you some of its missing. So you phone daily to check your meds are in to save a wasted journey. But no one answers the phone. You need a new manager

Really unacceptable for staff in this particular chemist, to keep people waiting for 1 whole hour, while they have some sort of meeting/chit chat. Many medications are life saving. Please consider this when taking over an hour to serve people in the future. Someone should have been serving!

They close at 1 to 2pm for lunch break. Wish it was shown and phone line is not available to make a swift call that I am coming to collect prescription.

Extremely slow service, quite rude staff when they want to be, empty shelves in store. Would rather go to the next town by foot than use this chemist.

The reason the service is slow has little to do with staff and management at the branch and everything to do with the Boots company ethos! The branch is far to small for the amount of people it is being asked to serve. A far better plan for the pharmacy would be remove most of the sales floor. There are five supermarkets in walking distance selling nappies, sunscreen, toothpaste, & shampoo cheaper! My guess would be because of shape and eye lines within the shop, more is pilfered then sold anyway!! Extend pharmacy stock and staff numbers to cope with demand! Most of the problems of miserable staff(?), Poor customer care, and Slow service, would disappear almost immediately!! Plus the chemists would be dealing with its key role -Pharmacy Demand!!

Always have got on with the staff at this chemist but today I was very disappointed with the 2 newest girls working there are rude and think that they are better than their customers. Basically while serving people they shock their heads and was huffing.

Not sure why this pharmacy is so busy, considering that the adjacent surgery is pretty much closed to patients at the moment. Had a prescription issued by the surgery during a telephone consultation and sent to the pharmacy early in the day. Popped in to collect only to discover that it was closed 1-2pm with what looked like a temporary sign on the door, although later it turned out that there are loads of them displayed throughout the store so probably always closed 1-2pm at the moment. Anyway, went back later about 5pm. Huge queue outside, and that was just to get into the next queue inside. Eventually got to the counter. The girl checked that the single item was in stock and tantalisingly showed it to me. Then I was sent to wait outside in the cold for about 20mins while it was "made up" whatever that means. (I guess in the olden days pharmacists had to grind up eye of newt or whatever but things must be simpler now). Why can't pharmacies just "make up" prescriptions when they are received so that they are ready for collection? Grrr.
