Great stay here! Very easy check in process and was pleasantly surprised with the double room and outdoor area. Hosts were very welcoming when I turned up with a bicycle, which they then allowed me to store safely in my room. Whole experience felt very homely, honestly can’t fault this place and will be choosing to stay here again in the future.

Avoid! Spend three nights there and every night and into the early hours till 5am there was consistently doors banging, people stomping about and making a unreasonable amount of noise thought-out the night waking me up every night on multiple occasions so got next to no sleep Plus when I got to the B&B after I finished work they was work men in the back garden doing some sort of gardening restructuring using jack hammers and smashing up the concrete and making a LOT of noise until after 7.30pm As for parking there is only about 8 parking spots and there is at last 30 different rooms so you have to be so very lucky to get parked otherwise it is on the roadside further down the street again if you can find somewhere The only plus points were the room was nice and clean, the wifi was good and it was cheap but in hindsight I should of paid the extra £10 a night and stayed somewhere where I could get more than a couple of hours of broken sleep

I was there for 4 weeks, but not exactly Braemar, in Grace guest House which is just beside of Braemar. But own by same person. It is basically a B&B. Both are similar. Nice rooms with different sizes and facilities. Kitchen facilities are there.

I have been contracting in the Derby area and I was recommended the Braemar amongst a few other hotels and b&b's. First impressions are that the price is cheap and the place looks a little old fashioned and if i dare; slightly run down. I've been staying here for 4 weeks now and haven't got a single complaint, the people who run this place are the nicest people I have ever met, and from day one have made me feel very welcome, which is always important when visiting somewhere new, especially when it's on a work basis. It's definitely a clean bnb despite the appearance of a dated decor, in fact over the weeks I've become adorned to the charm of the place. Maybe if you are very particular and would gladly pay extra for a hotel whilst contracting then i'll gladly tell you that you're missing out! £25 per night single room £30 per night en suite Discount for + monday-friday bookings I've enjoyed my stay 4.9 out of 5 - the main busy road at front will disturb you if you have a room at the front of the building, if you are staying because you're working in the area this will not affect you.
