   A nice house if you don't mind the downstairs bathroom on the other side of the conservatory. No lack of kitchenware, that was cool. I fixed the frying pans and the dangly kitchen cupboard door, so those should be ok for now. There were coat racks even, which you don't get often. If you like watching tv, pick that one bedroom. Mine had none but it had a squeaky bed to compensate -- I think the other beds were fine. The sheep were not too noisy, the rabbits were cute and the squirrel didn't mind posing for a selfie ;--) P.S.: please add a user manual for the shower(s)

   Spent a lovely week with the family at Gun End Cottage. Super comfortable, good space and beautiful surroundings. Really close to some stunning walks and a stone throw away from the town of Leek. Enjoyed watching the sheep in the neighboring field at breakfast time.

   Very nice place to stay. There isn't a play park near the cottage and the garden is very small, if you are visiting to be out the majority of the day then I would highly recommend.

   What a fantastic holiday cottage/house Janet and Margaret made it so lovely and welcoming. We went there last March 2013 for a 50th birthday party of Sue. A girls party night in beautiful surroundings in the countryside. All the amenities you could ever want lovely and warm LOVED IT. Would love to go again and actually stay 2 nights. We got snowed in and had to walk for over an hour to reach Heaton village to get to the party at The Royal Oak.
