Very helpful and friendly hosts . They really went out of their way to make you feel welcome and assist you with your visit ,providing great local knowledge. The house and rooms are gorgeous and well kept . Although a little further away for our visit to Alton towers than it could have been it was worth it. The lodgings really elevated our trip with a touch of decadence rather than just being somewhere to sleep . Breakfast although only continental was very good quality , especially the fresh fruit cups and perfectly adequate. Would definitely recommend and stay again .

Short version: Fantastic B&B to which we'd happily return. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and personable and were very happy to help us out wherever they could; in my case, using the warm, dry, shed to replace a tubless bicycle tyre which had given up on the idea of retaining air inside it. The room was great and everything felt 'just so'. It's unashamedly at the more premium feeling end of the market and worth every penny of our stay there. Special mention must be made of the breakfasts which were spectacular. The continental breakfast was vast and included fruit juice, cereal, croissants, fresh fruit and toast. There is also the (additional charge) option of a Full English which is fabulous, although it may mean you don't eat very much until rather later in the day...there isn't a huge amount of plate showing between the food. Bonus points must also be awarded to the choice of putting peppercorns on the mushrooms. Pro tip 1: if you're after a cooked breakfast (and I'd urge you to at least try it once), it's a good idea to let someone know the night before so they can be prepared. Pro tip 2: Steve and Andy's local knowledge is excellent, both in terms of the eateries, but also the small roads to avoid so I'd recommend taking advantage. I did a Google check on one of them and it'd be ... interesting ... to take a car down there, especially as you're highly likely to meet a tractor coming the other way.

We spent 2 nights in the Anson Suite and fell in love with the place. Lovely room, beautiful setting and stunning scenery. Great hosts, amazing breakfast and the whole place was immaculate with a real feeling of luxury. Everything about our stay here was perfect. We'll be recommending it to everyone we know. Thanks for a fabulous weekend.

Had the most amazing stay at Greensnips Farm...a gem! A beautiful farm with spectacular views and hospitality! Amazing breakfast and service. Can't thanky Andy and Steve enough for the late check out! Thoroughly enjoyed the hot soak after a long day and whole ambience. The guest kitchen and facilities were faultless! Its a shame the pictures just do not do it justice! Will defo return for a chilled weekend in the summer!

What a lovely place! The whole place is just lovely, the lounge is big and luxurious, the room was a great size for 2 people with 2 single comfy beds and a modern bathroom. On top of that there was a separate kitchen area for guests to use that has a kettle, tea coffee etc and microwave. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly too. I don't have a bad thing to say about this place, I highly recommend.

Oh my god what an amazing place to stay and amazing host's too. On arrival we were made to feel like we were entering their home not just a business arrangement. The whole experience is 5 star, house, rooms, breakfast and host's. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty of places to visit, some you may not know about but Andy and Steve will! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay we will definitely be back! Call Greensnips direct and book your stay, you wont regret it...paradise in the country.
