   I have been very happy with the service that charters Estate agents in Chandler's Ford has provided me with during my search for a property. They are always friendly and helpful. The young girl Jorgia has always made me feel welcome and answered my queries promptly. Harry was also very polite and very patient with me. My main contact however, has been with Brett the manager. I must say he has been very competent and always very quick to get back to me with honest and helpful support with my purchase. I have never been left in the dark with anything and have been informed with every part of the process. Luke gave us confidence right from the valuation stage. He came well-prepared with examples of similar properties they had sold nearby and explained clearly how they arrived at the price. This gave us real assurance that we were in good hands. One of the standout aspects was that Charters always sent their own team to conduct viewings. Everyone who came was friendly, helpful, and professional—I completely trusted them with the keys to our home. I believe this approach was key to finding a buyer so quickly; we sold within eight weeks! Edward was excellent during the negotiation stage. He kept us informed promptly as offers came in and provided helpful feedback from potential buyers, ensuring we achieved the best possible price.    Having recently sold my flat through Charters (Southampton branch), it was a relatively straightforward process.Once the negotiations had taken place, the sales progression team, namely Stephen provided good customer service. There were many frustrations on my part with the time it was taking for different part of the process which were not on the fault of Stephen or his direct team. It was mortgage companies and solicitors - lack of communication from them. Stephen showed empathy and understanding whenever we talked and I was kept updated on the progress even when there wasn't any news. He was quick to respond to my calls and emails and was consistent his approach. Thank you for your help, Stephen!

   I recently changed the tenancy on my rented house. I found that Charters attracted the right quality of potential tenant, and the checking out was efficient, despite the outgoing tenants having to defer their moving out at short notice. The only concern I had was that Charters were encouraging me to sign the new tenancy agreement before the existing tenants moved out, which could have left me liable to the incoming tenants if the sitting tenants cancelling their notice to quit or simply didn't move out on time.

   We have recently sold our house through Charters. We had a bit of a mixed experience with them (mainly good) but would like to start with the positives which are due to a few individuals there. First of which is Jess, we met her when we started to consider moving, our house wasn’t on the market yet but Jess listened to exactly what we were looking for and we felt we were a genuine priority for her to help us find our next home. She’s a real asset to charters, very honest, reliable and knowledgeable in everything she does. Another who is like to mention and give thanks to was Lisa R, she dealt with us once our house had sold, she too was just very approachable, knowledgeable and understanding of our circumstances which was much appreciated. Charters as a whole we feel just lacks a little bit of team communication. We initially didn’t want a for sale sign, but one was up promptly when we had started the process. In terms of the viewings on our property they were a little hit and miss, we asked for an “open day” style but got told with short notice this wasn’t happening then the viewings were all done by different people who I felt were coming in a little unsure of what they were trying to sell. After a few weeks on the market it was Jess who requested to come round so I could personally show her the house (she ended up selling it) which I just think makes a big difference to the overall selling experience. There were times we were called about one thing but then told another. The last encounter we had was them calling me after completion on the sale to ask when I was dropping the keys in for the new homeowners only to advise them I had done this 3 days prior which was at the request of someone else at charters. Little things like this I think really create a bit of disappointment with them when we chose them (mainly because of Jess) but also as they had a great reputation in the area. Overall Charters are good, just with thanks to some individuals there.
