Avoid at all costs! Our experience with this property management company was horrendous and stressful from start to finish. We rented flat that had serious damp issues in two separate rooms, which we reported multiple times. Despite our repeated attempts to get help, nothing was ever done to resolve the problem, as the landlord did not want to pay for repairs. As a result, the property developed significant mould throughout, which became a serious health concern. To make matters worse, the heating in the flat didn’t work properly the entire time we lived there. The radiator in the dampest room didn’t function at all, making it impossible to heat or ventilate the space effectively. Again, despite flagging this repeatedly, the issue was never addressed. Eventually, the situation became unlivable, and we attempted to break the lease due to the unresolved health hazards. The Enfields initially tried to prevent this, even though they had consistently failed to meet their obligations as managing agents. Now, over three months after moving out, we still haven’t received our deposit back. The excuse? "The landlord hasn’t responded"—which is not acceptable after this length of time. Throughout our tenancy and since leaving, communication has been painfully slow, with emails often only answered at the end of the day, if at all, causing unnecessary delays and added frustration. This company showed a complete lack of responsibility and care. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting a property through them to think twice. When we moved out they mentioned 'fixing' the issues including painting over the mould.. Truly awful company.
Landlord review... Coming from other letting agents I really really appreciated that at Enfields you deal with just one person when it comes to the property/tenant management side of things and that person being very helpful and quick to respond (thanks Emily!). I've had a lot of problems with a tenant over the last year and this is just a massive time saver not having to constantly explain the situation. My only negative feedback would be they could have done a better job at keeping track of small but important items left in the apartment. Things like the parking door remote, parking permits, and apartment documents weren't tracked in the inventories and have subsequently been lost at some point.

I purchased a house through them in Shirley. It was a complicated transaction due to an extended chain of transactions. Louise the Sales Manager from Enfields who managed the process through to completion was great, always helpful and responsive and ensured the deal got over the line.
The team at Enfields, and Jordan in particular as our sales negotiator, were attentive and communicative throughout the process of purchasing our house. They ensured the process was as smooth as possible (not an easy feat under the circumstances!) and any delays were not their responsibility.
Jordan has shown me round a number of properties before I found one to put in an offer on. He is courteous and professional, appointments were made to fit with my work commitments. I was given plenty of time to view and any enquiries i made were followed up without delay. Other team members at Enfields have also been helpful.

Enfields help in a recent sale of my flat deserves a public review. The property was marketed efficiently - multiple viewings were arranged quickly, and it was obvious that Enfields had good knowledge of the Southampton area. The initial transaction was complex but when my original buyers dropped out a replacement buyer was found extremely quickly (within 48 hours) and for a price that suited us both, and this sale was completed with minimum fuss. Throughout this process Sam and Shaun in particular were quick to answer emails, called regularly to update on progress and successful completion allowed purchase of a new property. Very grateful for the team's professionalism and happy with service offered.
