Really well stocked camping & outdoor kit supplier. We needed a small calor gas bottle refil and this shop were the only outlet for miles to have one.
Absolutely love this shop when I visit Henley once a year. Bought a bag that when I got back from shopping noticed it had a hole in it. Raced back to store ( that closed at 6) to be locked outside at 5.55. Young girl inside said they close early to do the tills. I also work in retail and although it's a tad annoying would never be allowed to close early! Now left with a broken bag as don't have a store near me.
Totally misleading selling... went to a small rail with sign on the front... jackets 69.99 down to 39.99 ..purchased two and it came to Over £100... when I queried it I was told not these jackets... so asked the assistant to show me what jackets.... took me back to the rail to try and show me the difference... there was no difference.... tried telling me there was tag part way down.... No tag... The jacket had a uk flag with 79.99 on it... when I said even that wasn't correct he said...oh yeah it's cheaper in England... What England's not part of the UK... when did that happen.. got my refund and left and Will not be returning.... moral is... check and double check what you think you are buying... and DO NOT be fooled by misleading sales tickets in Mountain Warehouse.
A small store but crammed with some great clothing. There was good choice and the staff were really friendly. There were some great bargains we visited.
Well I was impressed with the staff at Henley on Thames! No high pressure sales or hanging on you, just there to inform you and support.
I went in there for some Xmas shopping and they didn't have the size I needed. However Stephen the manager was amazing and ordered me a pair and really helped me out. Would definitely shop there again because of him
Good selection of outdoor wear, friendly knowledgeable staff who are quick to help without being pushy, despite it being near closing time on a Sunday afternoon they did not rush us to complete purchase so big shout-out to Leigh and Joe - thanks for great customer service!
