   Beautiful furniture, rugs,flooring, staff are very friendly,helpful and let you browse and try out furniture. The store in Aberdeen is very chic too. Stuart Edgar has been attending to us quite a few times now when purchasing furniture and is professional, friendly and knowledgeable, we are very happy going to Gillies.

   Went to have a look & everything was far too posh for me .. it is a shop for "rich" people who like to show off ..I didn't even like anything, its the kind of sofas you would find on a millionaires yacht! not really much personally in the sofa's just big slabs of in you face sofa's that probably weigh as much as a double decker bus.

   Fabulous customer service Found staff in the Aberdeen store to be knowledgeable of the products and so professional throughout. Purchased 2 sofas and although we had an issue with one this was resolved immediately . The store manager contacted us personally regarding our issues and came to meet us on our recent store visit, which we greatly appreciated. Would have no hesitation in recommending Gillies especially Stephen and his team who go above and beyond to assist. Will certainly shop here again Thank you Gillies Aberdeen

   Thank you Gillies. From in store to aftersale staff you restored my faith in good customer service. Choosing a suite was a joy with exactly the right guidance given. When my recliner armchair broke after a couple of weeks they came out within 2 days. They have kept in contact with me during the wait for the manufacturers to supply a new part and have now fixed it . Absolutely no hassle. I recommend Gillies to my family and friends for value and service. Thanks again Gillies.

   Ordered my carpets in June for fitting in July. Rescheduled twice already with only 1 day notice!! Got my carpets fitted today- beautiful. The guys were professional and efficient.

   Bought linoleum and laid in December. Salesman said it was suitable for a sunroom and for two dogs. The fitter at time of fitting disagreed and said it was too flimsy for sunroom. Within weeks dents appeared and in April it started to rise. Contacted Ghillies shop and by email along with photos. Fitter returned to glue it down permanently, which we declined as it would of be impossible to lift in the future. Received a phone call from the salesman who admitted we shouldn't of been sold this for a sunroom and also an email telling us what we should of bought. Manager phoned and said the problem was the dogs and as we had declined having it glued permanently Ghillies were taking no responsibility.

   Amtico flooring with 25year guarantee looks great, but this does not cover the installation of the product. A small hallway, kitchen and living area all installed however after four further visits by the installers we are awaiting a further date for the issues to be resolved. The flooring was bought in April 2021. Disappointing outcome thus far with poor communication with us as customers, as each phone call results in us being passed to another person and waiting for calls that never happena. A further visit tba may sort the issue.
