   My daughter has attended this nursery for about 18 months I came in on the government 15 hours scheme and whilst not free the small additional fee is well worth it! This is for all of their little excursions or visits that they have that come to the nursery! Not to mention the close link to nature with the play garden at the back! The staff have been excellent and are first rate at communicating with us parents! My daughter is always super excited to go to nursery and I know will miss her friends there, those that are going to different schools and those that are staying behind to look after next years attendees!

   Old Basing Village Nursery has been an incredible place for our child's early development. The nurturing environment they provide is truly outstanding. The staff are not only caring but also highly skilled in fostering a love for learning among the children. Our child has thrived here, gaining confidence and essential social skills. The balanced approach to education ensures that the kids are well-prepared for their future schooling. They combine play and structured learning perfectly, making sure that every day is both fun and educational. The facilities are excellent, always clean and welcoming. We also appreciate the regular communication from the staff, keeping us informed about our child's progress and daily activities. We couldn't be happier with the care and education our child receives at Old Basing Village Nursery. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nurturing and enriching start to their child's education!

   Both my children have attended Old Basing Village Nursery School and I am very happy with both of their time there. Run by husband and wife, Andy and Victoria, there is a real sense of family about the nursery which is so impressive as they have continued to grow bigger and haven't lost such an important aspect which was part of the reason for choosing them. They offer so much more than day care. They provide so many experiences for all the children, of all ages. From Wild Child, cooking and baking, visiting artists and musicians, animals experiences... to name only a few things. The whole team are wonderful, which the children and are loved by the kids so much. Absolutely, no complaints.

   From the moment my daughter started at OBVNS it’s felt like a home from home environment. The staff have always made me feel relaxed and welcome and I also felt supported as a parent. My daughter made strong bonds straight away which I believe added to her development and alongside everything they have on offer; fantastic age appropriate environments, planned activities, walks around the local village and guests they have in to offer new and exciting opportunities ensured her Early Years education has been fulfilling and rewarding. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better nursery for my baby.

   We are incredibly grateful for the experience both our boys had at Old Basing Village Nursery School, we couldn't be happier with the care and education they received. The nursery offers fantastic enrichment opportunities through various external providers. Our children loved exploring the wild with Angie, baking delicious treats with Karen, and singing and shaking with Kathryn. These activities became a highlight of their week, and it really added to their enjoyment of their time at nursery. The open communication with the team was fantastic. We always felt heard and valued as parents, and it was evident that the entire OBVNS team genuinely cared for our boy’s wellbeing and development. The entire team are lovely, nurturing, and dedicated to providing a great start to children's education. We highly recommend OBVNS! They are a fantastic choice for any parent looking for a wonderful nursery school. Thank you for everything!

   I was so nervous to send my little one to nursery but obvns were amazing… the settling in period was just what we needed and they went at the right pace for my little one. They also sent lots of photos so I knew he was doing just fine! I’ve since recommended two of my friends to the nursery and both of their little ones are starting September too!

   My son absolutely loves attending nursery, he is so excited to go that he waits by the front door in the morning and pulls me to get in the door! All the staff are happy and so welcoming. I get regular updates and photos throughout the day so I know what he is up to and how much he has slept. He has come on so much since being with OBVNS with his speech and also recognising animals in books, also doing all the moves to his nursery rhymes . I couldn’t ask for a better nursery for my little boy

   I highly recommend Old Basing Village Nursery School. My son has been attending since it first opened in September 2018. He was one of the very youngest when he started and previously he'd only been with our lovely childminder. He settled in really well and loves going. The facilities are great. Hot lunches are provided. There are 'Wild Child' and 'Singers and Shakers' sessions etc. An app gives brilliant updates, information and photos of what my son's been up to each day. But for me, it's the staff who really make the nursery such a special place. They are well qualified (some are former primary school teachers) and all are so warm, friendly, kind and patient. You can see they love being with the children. And the children clearly love being with them. I feel completely confident my son is safe, well and happy whenever he's there.

   Old Basing Village Nursery School is a setting above and beyond one i have seen before. This nursery has a group of experienced, motivated and friendly staff who know what they are doing and do a fantastic job, all run by a brilliant Management Team. The food is fantastic, the development and activities are varied and the communication tool they use is great ( i get to see photos every day!!). I can not express enough how good this nursery is. Knowing that my little boy is in great hands makes it bearable leaving him everyday and I can not thank Victoria, and her team, enough for creating the setting they have.

   We can't recommend Old Basing Village Nursery enough! The staff are amazing, our son has settled in better than we could have hoped and he clearly loves his time there and has made lovely bonds with the staff. The village location, warm welcome, daily activities, feedback and photos along with the brilliant outdoor play areas are second to none.
