We had a lovely meal last night. Myself and my partner had a burger and my daughter had sausage and mash, we really enjoyed it. The staff were great too.
stayed for one night, absolutely greatt place to stay. room was large and very clean with outstanding views to the rear. place is quite near to a main road but did not notice it at night slept absolutely fine. nice pub too beer was nice decent staff. Would 100% stay again
We booked a table for 4, for a celebratory meal for our daughter who'd smashed her GCSE's. It was a pleasant environment to be in, the staff were friendly and professional. The main courses were very good, just one little criticism we ordered 2 Lasagne's and found it to be a little too salty, but we don't use salt much anyway. The other 2 mains were fab. Well, what can I say about the desert they were amazing and generous portions, you couldn't fault them. We will definitely go back there. Hats off to them.
We rang on the off chance for a table as we were unable to get a table at the restaurant we'd chosen to go to. They accommodated us straight away. Nothing was too much trouble! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! The view from the dining room onto the open fields was an added bonus on a summers evening. They also did us take outs for our son. Will definitely be going again! Lovely place to relax.
Stayed here on the 25th of February clean rooms dave the owner nice guy who we spent a few hrs at the bar with chatting and having a few drinks woukd return here in the future
The Castle Inn is an attractive building, with a really cosy and well-stocked pub with a fire. Dog-friendly and people-friendly! Accommodation was clean and comfortable and the owner was very helpful and welcoming.
Absolutely top spot to spend a few nights in Shropshire. Friendly people, clean and nice rooms with a great view into the green field behind the house. We could park our bikes right infront of our little appartement. Excellent breakfast. Will visit again!
Bit of an odd location for a pub but it is a lovely place. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, drinks are good and still sensibly priced. If a beer isn't your thing the coffee here is really quite good. The beer garden is large and has gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. I have yet to eat here but the restaurant is a good size and I do intend returning for food. Overall a great place
I really enjoyed the night at Castle Inn.The food was home cooked and very good. Great service, hospitable and friendly. Brilliant large rooms. Good breakfast. Can't speak highly enough of the hotel. Would definitely recommend it. Thank you to the owner and his colleague
