Just had afternoon tea here to celebrate our birthdays. It was beautiful, the staff are amazing right from the booking to the end of the tea. Very attentive, plenty of tea and food, the room was lovely. I highly recommend this place.

Christmas party in the marquee. First impressions of the hotel were good, easy check-in and we had a lovely room on the top floor. We were part of a large party so while our rooms was lovely silver of the others were a bit tired apparently. We had a lovely large room, nice bathroom, bit dusty in places but I've seen a lot worse. The Christmas party took place in the marquee in the gardens, starting in the main house with drinks then on to the party, all well organised with plenty of staff around to server drinks and direct you. The party was well organised, food was great for such a large scale, waiting staff were very efficient. We had a Queen tribute act who was good, the dance floor was packed. Good breakfast in the morning, full English or small continentals, full English for me!

We have just got married at Nunsmere Hall. I can honestly say we have no regrets that we picked here. The Venus is stunning and the views that surround the building are amazing. The staff every single one of them are so accommodating in every way. Hannah kept me informed and up to date right the way through our wedding process and answered any questions and put us at ease. On the day of the wedding Brooke sorted everything she kept us informed and set everything up she was totally amazing even when we had a bridesmaid nearly pass out she was quick to get water and bring everything to a holt with it becoming a disaster. She was truly amazing. We had to most memorable day and all our guest enjoyed it and also commented of how organised every member of staff was, how friendly there were and this was great for us to here. I would recommend Nunsmere Hall if you planning on getting married or just want a night away as every room is unique but have amazing beds everyone slept really well and it is just a pleasurable place to stay.

A pretty hotel in a remote location 10 minutes drive from the beautiful Delamere Forest. There is nothing but the noise of birds and total darkness, with tons of squirrels running around. The hotel is beautiful and offer fine dining or pub style grub with breakfast available to purchase if you stay overnight. Such a lovely find and would defistay again

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Alex at reception was the main reason I wrote this review. She was born to be a receptionist. 10/10 for her attentiveness and helpfulness advice. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was extremley comfortable. I slept very well. Beautiful grounds and spectacular views of the lake. I would definitely recommend staying there! Thank you

Nice enough location, looks great from outside however whilst bedrooms are quite large they let themselves down with the poor finishing details. Cracked tiles in bathroom, scruffy around edge of the bath, poor painting and general decoration. No handle on wardrobe. Had to ask multiple times for somebody to attend the bar. Breakfast in morning not up to much. Flask tea and coffee and cold food. Dinner in the marquee was however quite nice. I have stayed in nicer and for cheaper. Would I stay again, no. Funnily enough I stayed in the hotel many years ago and I was very impressed.

Lovely building and grounds but tired interior. No flowers to brighten up the rooms and hallways. Spacious room with great view of gardens. Quiet at night but overheated. Bedroom had peeling blinds and boxing in bathroom coming away from walls. I think probably lockdown has had a bad impact on investing in what is a lovely venue. Breakfast was nice but muesli would have been better than the other very sugary choices, for me. Staff were pleasant.

Had a good night. Food for a Christmas do, was good especially the gravy and roast potatoes. The Italian duo entertainment was fabulous. However the house red Spanish wine was unpalatable. We just couldn't drink it. We had a poor reaction from customer service.. My advice is don't buy if at £22 a bottle it can be bought for £5.95. Not a good service hence 3 stars

We only booked for afternoon tea, we were using a voucher, received as a gift. The hotel is in a stunning setting, inside is also very nice, albeit a bit chilly on a cool day towards the end of November. The staff were very pleasant, although our waitress seemed to disappear after serving us, obviously, due the lack of staff members she had other duties to attend. The food was nice, but not a lot of it, I have never been served such small scones and pastries. We had to look for a staff member to replenish our drinks and then again to actually pay as there was nobody about. The lack of staff needs to be addressed by the hotel, as it has put us off going back there and also recommending this lovely hotel.
