   Can't speak highly enough about the very high standard of coaching and training here. I was looking around for some.martial arts training for my daughter and Thames Valley TKD was miles ahead of the Matt Fides so called "mixed martial arts" being touted. The evidence is clear when you see how well this club does at National competitions both in patterns and sparring. My daughter has won many medals as a result and enjoys the camaraderie in the club at events. I like the payment structure too, the subscription model works well and is very good value in my opinion. You can see the passion and enthusiasm the head Coach Andy Whiteley has for the sport, this is reflected in the discipline and results his pupils seem to achieve time and time again from youngest through to the older ages.

   Thames Valley TKD provides top class instruction for adults and children of all abilities. Since joining in 2018, I have achieved two promotions becoming a 4th degree black belt in March 2024. Training is challenging, provides focus and is always high quality. Master Whiteley and his team of instructors are technically impressive in every aspect of ITF Taekwondo and know how to get the best out of you. I would recommend Thames Valley TKD to anyone starting or returning to Taekwondo, my only regret was not joining sooner!

   I am very pleased that I have enrolled my daughter for Taekwondo training at Thames Valley. She started at the age of 5 and has enjoyed every lesson since then. Senior Master Whiteley and the other instructors are truly amazing. They are extremely well qualified and professional instructors. They helped the young learners to progress and they were good at motivating them with fun games and exercises. I would definitely recommend the school to everyone especially parents and kids.

   I am recovering from having a herniated disc and needed to increase my mobility and strengthen my core after being sedentary for several months. I have been doing Fit45 once a week for 14 weeks and am already noticing the difference. My stomach muscles are tighter, hip flexors are more flexible and my clothes are feeling looser. I was nervous at first having never taken a Taekwondo class, however the instructor explains the stretches very well. I do not live in the area of the instructor so the Zoom format is perfect for me.

   I really enjoyed my taster session at Thames Valley TKD. I was nervous but was made to feel very welcome. Senior Master Whiteley and the instructors make the sessions fun but highly effective. I had a good workout, felt energised and ready for the weekend. My son aged 10 has been training for 4 years and can honestly say that learning the art of TKD has had such a positive impact on his confidence, co-ordination and fitness. He’s had the opportunity to enter competitions, attend workshops and train online through lockdown which was a Godsend! If you are looking for a professional club with high level coaching this is the place to be suitable for all ages and fitness.
