I would like to give a big thank you to the respiratory nursing team at Arbroath Infirmary. Rachel, Emily, Lynn, Deirdre and Caroline,. These nurses were excellent at delivering pulmonary rehab at the Saltire sports centre We were made welcome from the start and encouraged to use the weights and equipment correctly for various exercises. The warm ups and cool downs were fun. We were given lots of good advice, information and ideas on coping with COPD. This pulmonary rehab course has made a big difference to my quality of life. My breathing and mobility have greatly improved. Thank you so much Rachel, Emily, Lynn. Deidre and Nicola.

My baby had a dislocated arm, and we came here for an examination. A female doctor kindly approached us, asked about my baby’s condition, carefully checked, and performed a very skillful procedure. Just a few hours after we got home, my baby stopped crying in pain and could move and use the right arm normally and flexibly again, just like before. I asked and learned that the doctor’s name might be Jay. We are deeply grateful and appreciative of the doctors who were so dedicated and caring toward our baby. Thank you very much.

Had bloods and an X-ray done here recently and on both occasions there was next to no wait time at all and the most polite and helpful staff. Would recommend highly and thank you all for your kind attention.

My wife went to the minor injuries unit with an urgent situation. Basically was told to go away and see a doctor , wasn't interested in the slightest about the problem and shut the glass panel before she could even reply , couldn't have cared less . The MIU receptionist shouldn't be in this line of work with this attitude. My wife was in tears about it and felt completely let down at a time where she needed help .

Terrible place, if you get injured and it coincides with a holiday, they will not help you, they will tell you to wait a week, you will wait a week, then they will call you and tell you to wait again.

Only have good things to say. I have used the hospital for several reasons (X-ray and eye clinic) and we have brought my daughter here on a number of occasions too for out of hours advice and guidance and also ultrasound. The staff have always been lovely, caring and attentive. As with all hospitals and health care centres there can be a wait but this is expected these days? There are only so many doctors and nurses to go round. Organisation has always been good. Findings communicated back to GP or consultant in good time. Thank you. You work as well as you can given the resources and funding you are provided with!

I write on behalf of my husband, Colin Lockhart who was recently an inpatient. A model to many hospitals in it care and friendliness ARBROATH sets an excellent example.
