I have attended the classes for a few years now. It's a very friendly group and you will be made welcome. Classes are exceptional given by top international and Argentinian teachers. So from beginners to experienced getting technique right is so important. Ladies and students welcome as there is a belief that females only need to follow so dont attend classes but they turn out in numbers at Milongas when men have choice. The Club have regular milongas where beginners can see and gain confidence with friendly people. So no need to travel to London when Reading has good train and road links..

I have been dancing tango for 10 years and find Reading Tango Club to be a very friendly place for those beginning their journey and those wanting to improve. Teachers are of an exceptional level giving very clear instruction. They are actively hands-on throughout lessons with everyone giving feedback to suit their individual level, keeping classes energised and fun.

Reading Tango Club opened me up to a whole world of tango dancing. I started as a complete beginner and through the friendly and supportive club I slowly learned the steps, musicality and then then a continued passion for dancing Argentine Tango. I am often astounded how the team at Reading Tango Club bring amazing professional teachers including, sometimes the world champions, to teach classes on a Wednesday night. Tango is a brilliant dance to learn and because it is improvised it is never the same, there is always more to learn and practice. I feel so fortunate that I took the step to join the club and now I have Argentine Tango in my life. I recommend learning to dance anyway, but in my opinion, Tango is the best dance to learn.

Reading Tango Club is a perfect place to learn and practice Argentine tango. The Club runs courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers and is very friendly and welcoming to old members and the newcomers. The teachers are very talented and inspiring. It is also a place to make friends. Apart from weekly practice the members gather for regular Milongas, All dancing takes place in a beautiful hall of St. Lukes Church in central Reading . I joined the Club eight years ago and it proved one of the best decisions of my life.
