    DO NOT USE PHILLIPS LAW. This has been a terrible conveyancing experience from start to finish and beyond and is going to cost us SIGINFICANTLY. Phillips law failed to make the charge on the land registry for our original mortgage. We only discovered this upon going through the remortgage process 2 years later. We are spending time trying to rectify this but are now facing the prospect of being moved onto a much MORE EXPENSIVE variable rate mortgage PLUS the time spent trying to sort this mess out. For the original mortgage process we got there in the end (or so we thought) but the communication was incredibly slow and the process was like pulling teeth. My advice would be to go somewhere else for your conveyancing needs.

    We recently used Philips law for the conveyancing process as first time buyers. The price was very reasonable, and the service throughout was professional, prompt and thorough. Symone was extremely helpful, and guided us through a unfamiliar process, managing to get us in within 4 months of having our offer accepted. We had a pretty strict deadline as our landlord was selling the house, so we cannot thank her enough for all her hard work! I can find no faults in the way our purchase was handled, and she did a great job at chasing updates while we were out of the country. Cannot recommend her enough! Thank you!

    Service & Communication very inadequate. We used Philips having previously used the firm they have incorporated with, hoping the experience would be the same. I use a range of solicitors regularly for business so have some idea of service expectations and timings/communication. Our last experience at Philips was ended by us having been ongoing without ANY progress since the end of May 22 - We chased numerous times and were promised that things would start moving but nothing changed. This was for a simple ongoing issue related to a house purchase so nothing too complex. Most concerning and frustrating is the arrogant stance and lack of any ongoing apology or concern for the poor service levels we highlighted.
